It is a smaller hotel, which is not a bad thing. Its location is excellent for walking to the beach, boardwalk and many other places to eat. Staff has always been excellent and professional.

I wish I could give minus stars. From the moment I arrived at Sun Shine Motel in Wildwood, NJ, the experience was a non‑stop nightmare. I hope no one else ever stays here. If this place is a last resort, cancel your trip and sleep in your car instead. Seriously—the discomfort and constant dread you’ll feel here is worse than any motel bed bug horror story. You’ll wake up itchy, filthy, and completely ripped off. This isn’t a motel—it’s a cautionary tale.

Not too bad of a place. Was pretty run down and needed a good deep clean. Worth the price because it’s super close to the boardwalk.

Last minute stay, very surprised

We booked this room last minute (not recommended at Jersey Shore) and for 1 night, usually not allowed. While it looked awful outside, we had soft clean beds, working A/C, TV, remote, fridge and small freezer, and toilet was actually great! While the bathroom and bedspreads were leftover from the 1970s, we had a surprisingly pleasant stay. I would not book this again if I could help it.

I did not like that the over flow parking lot was across the street over a small divider. It made it difficult to cross the street with children and your luggage. otherwise the property and hotel was just what we needed. Good hotel for the price..
