Luxury on the Edge of Traverse City

Enjoy an intimate experience with nature and all the amenities of a luxury resort yet only minutes away from Traverse City's finest restaurants, beaches, wineries, shopping, and golf. Only 3 miles from the Great Lakes Equestrian Show and 1.5 miles from Turtle Creek Casino. This incredible dome-home has 1023 sq. ft. of living space with majestic views. That's over three times the size of a hotel room. The 20' tall ceiling contributes to an ambiance that is difficult to adequately describe other than "amazing."

Geodesic Dome Home #12 sleeps six (7) adults - more if you have small kids. The master bedroom area features a massive, handcrafted king-size barnwood bed that is positioned to provide incredible views of the surrounding pristine forest. There is a second bedroom space with a queen-over-queen bunk bed. This bunk bed is extremely sturdy and capable of holding four adults (or 5-6 children). The living room space has a full-size sofa and a coffee table. There is an indoor dining table and chairs. Should it rain, there is a TV and WI-FI to stream your favorite movie. There is a private, indoor bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom has a full-size tub and shower.

Outside you will find a second bathtub. This outdoor bathtub is private and positioned so you can enjoy a relaxing bath while listening to the soothing sounds of nature.

Additional amenities include an indoor kitchen, AC & Heat, firepit, barbeque, hammock, and pavilion. The pavilion has an outdoor dining table and chairs. We provide one complimentary bundle of firewood for each day booked.

PLEASE NOTE: This listing is currently under construction and will be completed by Memorial Weekend of 2024. The photos shown are from another listing. You have our promise that the decor will be equally as beautiful. This new dome differs slightly from the dome shown in the photos. The dome under construction is larger and both the kitchen and bathroom are inside the dome. We will take professional photos in May and immediately post them. My wife is the interior designer selecting furniture and decor for this dome. I have challenged her to make the interior of this new dome even nicer than shown in the photos. I hope you will agree.

With 75 acres of private land surrounded by state land on three sides, you will have access to miles of trails for hiking and birding. Pine, cedar, spruce, and cherry trees provide a natural privacy barrier from neighboring accommodations. Neighboring accommodations range from 80' to 300' away. Please be careful driving in or out in the evening as there is an abundance of deer and other wildlife in the area. We seek to provide you with a unique, intimate interaction with nature, yet you are only a few miles away from the best of Traverse City.

NOTE: Our resort has nine (9) additional geodesic dome-homes. If this one does not have the desired dates available, or you would like an additional dome-home for a friend or family member, check out our other listings. Also, those domes listed with an extra bed - the beds take up minimal space. Each dome still has all the amenities for a wonderful vacation.
