Surrounded by beautiful spruce trees and fresh mountain air, Rustic Red Retreat is a quiet place to slow down, unwind, and experience the beauty of Alaska. Our spacious driveway provides plenty of room for trucks, travel trailers, and RVs in the summer, as well as snowmachine trailers in the winter, making it an ideal base camp for every season.

Rustic Red Retreat is a thoughtfully updated cabin designed to feel warm, welcoming, and comfortable after a day of exploring. Inside you'll find a cozy living area, a well-equipped kitchenette, and everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Our property sits on beautiful acreage just off Montana Creek Road, only a short drive from downtown Talkeetna. Montana Creek, one of the area's favorite fishing and recreation spots, is just minutes away, and you're within easy driving distance of hiking, flightseeing tours, river adventures, and Denali National Park.
We're always happy to recommend our favorite local restaurants, coffee shops, fishing spots, scenic drives, and hidden gems to help you make the most of your Alaska vacation.

Please note:
This is a true Alaska cabin located in a peaceful, wooded setting where wildlife is common. You may see moose, birds, squirrels, or other native wildlife during your stay.
No smoking or vaping inside the cabin.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with a $50 pet cleaning fee. We ask that pets are supervised, cleaned up after, and kept off the furniture whenever possible.
If you need anything during your stay, we're nearby and happy to help while still giving you plenty of privacy.

Great tiny home to stay and feel like you are in the woods. The host has a great property and the cabin is tucked in well and away from their main house. Abu the husky was a star and we loved that he was there to greet us as promised.
