Property and room were clean, but felt 'tired'. Staff couldn't be nicer. Area is a shopper's paradise, if you like that sort of thing. Lovely countryside is very close, and the price was a very good value. The cookies are delicious.

Dirty Room

After unpacking everything in our room, I noticed an unwrapped baguette under one of the beds. I called the service desk and they were apologetic and sent someone to remove it. After they left, I checked under the other bed and found a grape. I didnt bother calling again, figuring someone would pay extra attention the next day and find it. However, when we returned the next day after housekeeping had “cleaned” our room, the grape was still there. Obviously, the room cleaners are not paying much attention to detail.

The entire hotel feels like it’s having AC problems. Our room did not have the AC on when we got here, and it’s in the 90s outside. Wallpaper peeling in bathroom, paint peeling in hallways, etc. Not enough towels. Two soaps but no shampoo in bathroom.

So disappointing!

The outside of the hotel looked rundown. Weeds everywhere around the hotel and parking lot. Walked into the lobby and it felt like there wasn’t any air conditioning. We asked the front desk if it was broken and they said it’s just hot outside. The lobby smelled like puke so every time we came off the elevator, we felt sick to our stomach. The elevator’s felt like sauna in them. We got to our floor and again, no air conditioner. Got into our room and it smelled musty. Bathroom needed a better cleaning. We paid for 2 nights but left after the first night. They had people partying everywhere and the noise was ridiculous. Would never recommmend this hotel to anyone!
