The hotel was spotless, the rooms were really clean and nice. The hotel staff was the best we’ve had anywhere we have ever stayed at. If we were to have to visit again we would definitely choose to stay here. This was my very first stay with Doubletree and we were really impressed. The bar was the perfect touch to our stay allowing us the ability to have space to watch the Duke and Carolina game.

You have to pay to park. It's only $10 a night, but it should be included. The Starbucks in the entry is awesome but the restaurant really isn't open only in the evening and it's not a true restaurant there's a bar, but nobody there. That said we ate 2 miles around town and they were both awesome. The room was clean. It's great if you want a quick clean bed for a night.

The section of the hotel I was in didn’t have hot water. When I inquired about it they were aware of it for several days, said something about a pump being broke. They did offer me to move to another section but I had already taken a shower and was leaving the next morning. Just not sure why you put me in that section to begin with if you knew their was an issue.

The rooms are clean and beautiful, as always with Hilton, and the gym is clean as well and has the tools needed for a complete workout. I loved everything about the stay. At check in, however, the gentleman was a bit dry and didn’t greet me or provide directions to the elevator or offer much guidance. On the other hand, at checkout, the young lady at the front desk was wonderful very kind and she even handed me a warm oatmeal chocolate chip cookie.

Young staff could not answer many questions regarding the room (temp controls, poor TV control, etc.) or local area. Poor bathroom remodel. (The second "vanity mirror & shelf" less than a foot away from the side of the toilet - "privacy door" so close to the front & middle of the toilet that the ill-positioned door can only be closed when one steps to the far inside of the bathroom.) Decor throughout the hotel is modern, sleek - in a sense, cold and barren. And to advertise the presence of a "restaurant" is a laugh - it is a grill or cafe at best.
