The staffs not friendly,grumpy when asked and tried to charge me 3 days of parking when we only parked for 2 days. Good thing I checked the receipt. We were out early morning and out the whole day and when we came back, the room and bathroom not cleaned at all. The breakfast was not great. The staff making omelet was also grumpy and you have to ask for bacon and sausage. It was not on the buffet table.overall breakfast was mediocre. The hotel should ask tips on how to run a hotel from embassy suites hotel San Antonio Riverwalk. That embassy suites knows how to run a hotel.
After being out the whole day, this is what you see when you walked in the room. The hotel should re train their housekeeping staff.

We arrived a little early and we were told our room was not ready and would be ready in 20 to 30 minutes. We went to have a drink and came back in an hour. Room still not ready. Not allowed to park there so left again. Got a call the room was ready. Returned to almost nowhere to unload. There is only a small circle at the entrance to unload and the parking is in a garage around the block. Nothing they can do about this, but just be aware of it when you book. Room was okay, but no space to hang clothes and view of the parking garage. Included breakfast had a nice omelet bar and limited other choices. Only fruit was cantaloupe and watermelon. Would have been nice to have blueberries, strawberries, grapes or something to put on my cereal. I appreciated they included 2 drinks per day per person at an afternoon happy hour. This was an unexpected plus. In the morning I brought the car from the parking lot to the entrance to load it. The attendant approached and I told him I was just loading. As I entered the hotel another attendant asked for my key. I told him I was just loading. He again insisted. I repeated I was just loading and pointed out I was the only car there. He said it was procedure and he needed my keys. I ignored him and got our luggage and came back to load. Still the only car there.

Great access to the waterfront river walk and the convention center. Nice rooms and common areas. Starbucks in lobby, breakfast area and restaurant on second floor, bar on rooftop.

Great bday evening out!

All in all it was a great trip... love the location, close enough to walk to downtown bars and shops but far enough away to still be quiet. The food was wonderful, the rooftop bar was amazing! The beds are really hard and uncomfortable to me though, but otherwise the staff are the best!
