Friendly staffs. No park in front of my room as I was told. The room doesn't have a TV, minibar and also is really warm. It most likely a Hostel instead Hotel.

Hi Deborah, Thank you for your email and for choosing to stay at Ski Rider. We are happy to hear you had a positive experience with our staff. Parking is unallocated but spread throughout the property- apologies if this was miscommunicated to you. Reception can be unreliable due to our national park location but we do have boosters in the main building with free guest wifi and 2x TV lounges with Netflix for guest use. Our hotel is designed for those who wish to explore the area and beautiful national park. Our rooms vary from double/twin-share to 6-share rooms to accommodate families but are all private with ensuite bathrooms. Thanks again!

11 km to Perisher

We enjoyed the atmosphere in the grill lounge, the grill was very tasty, the buffet was adequate. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were disappointed in the quality of the beds and bedding, they were very tiered and the mattresses need urgent replacement. Overall it’s a very handy location, free internet would be appreciated. Expensive for what you get.

The one day stay was lovely. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and the room was very cosy and warm. I will definately keep this lovely accommodation option in mind next time I am at Perisher.

good visit

Pros: clean and quite for something on a main road
Cons: not really
Location: skiing and mountain area for viewing
Spent one night there early august and it was more than acceptable with a good price, clean rooms reasonable food good booze at a realistic price for a change!

Great Staff and location

Pros: Delicious food, great service.
Cons: The room smelt musty on arrival.
Location: Only short distance to Perisher ski field. Shuttle bus service was consistent and on time.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Staff were very happy and friendly, food was amazing and rooms comfortable.

Convenience with some great steaks

Although it hasn't changed much since I first went there 30yrs ago, the Ski Rider's half board has great food in Guppies Grill (where the food is quality and the serving sizes are generous) and a friendly atmosphere. Be prepared to share your stay with school groups, and the lack of TVs can be a little frustrating when you have tired kids. Convenient location means that whilst you still get some snow, your car is not going to get snowed in.

Thank you for your review and rating of 4/5 for your stay at Ski Rider. Just to let you know that we generally only have schools staying during school holiday periods and where possible we always let our guests know that schools will be staying. As you booked through an online booking channel, it was not possible for us to pass on this information to you prior to arrival. We also suggest that when you travel with children, to bring a device pre-loaded with movies. This allows a bit of 'down time' for your young children in your room after a big day on the mountain. We do hope you took advantage of our free entertainment which is geared toward families during the school holiday period.

Nice and close to the snow

Was really good. Beds were a bit uncomfy but we picked their more for the convenience of the snoe and they had a bus that dropped us and picked us up
