The property is simply stunning! I have been to the Cotswolds many times over the years however this was a first for my partner who found the area breathtaking. The highlight of her few days here was the hotel. Every aspect of the hotel was faultless and will certainly return for a longer stay.

What a beautiful property to stay in. The room we stayed in was clean, well furnished and had all the extras you needed. Because the hotel is set back from the road there is no noise therefore we had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and finally we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast!

While we had a pleasant stay and the staff was very nice and helpful, the property needs some modernising. For instance, the window of our room didn't quite stay open which made it very hot and stuffy in this hot weather

Great weather meant we got to utilise the pool space which was great. However, it was dirty upon our arrival but cleaned the following morning. Breakfast was good and the restaurant served a small menu but it was fine for us. Limited availability with the wine menu and no draft beer. A pleasant stay which I would recommend.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. It was very hot and room was unbearable at times due to lack of air con. Fan was provided but was inadequate. Surprised to be charged service charge on afternoon tea and evening meal on top of normal charges without being informed in advance. This considering we received our tea but no cups and then the food but no plates.

Lovely hotel with lots of character, great food and drink and wonderful staff. Our room was on the second floor with only stairs access, which may be difficult for some. It was a little dark in our room due to the trees outside and lighting configuration within the room. It was noticeably warmer on the second floor than the first or ground floor and, as lacking air conditioning, may become very hot in warmer temperatures. We had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We would definitely book again.
