The hotel, pub was absolutely perfect. The staff were excellent especially Tarik excuse me if not spelt correctly. All staff were extremely attentive. Room was so cozy, a little in the warm side but we didn’t see the thermostat as slightly hidden. We ate at the pub on Friday, food, drinks all excellent. Breakfast was fresh and hot. We will definitely be back.

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms we very clean and comfortable, also well catered for our dog. Hotel looked and felt very festive and.cosy with stylish Christmas decorations. The most disgustingly dirty place I have ever stayed in. Clearly hadn't been cleaned for weeks. Dust everywhere, leaves, feathers and bits of rubbish over the floors. Hair from someones hairbrush sitting on the windowsill. Kettle disgusting. The most revoltingly stained duvet I have ever seen.

Disappointing Stay after friends Wedding

Wanted to check in late as coming from a wedding and was told the latest check in was 11, slight inconvenience . Room was very tired, broken shower door, smelly drains, peeling wallpaper, creaky floorboards, warm cold water tap, black mould above the shower. Full English breakfast and teas included, very average as bacon and sausage overcooked. The reviews and website did a lot of heavy lifting for this property which badly needs work and was massively overpriced at £150 for the night.
