The apartment was pretty clean, and Alan communicated with me very well throughout my stay. I had asked if I could drop my items off prior to check-in so I would not have to take them to my destination, and that was graciously allowed.I am thankful that I stopped in a couple hours early because the apartment was not quite ready yet, and Alan was unaware that it was not prepared. Had I arrived later after my day out, I would have come back to a bed that was not made up The space itself was very nice, open, and comfortable. Both the heat and air conditioning worked very well.The main issue I experienced was with the hot water in the shower. I was only able to get hot water for about 8–10 minutes. The first time I showered, the water turned cold before I was even able to rinse the soap off. After I mentioned it to Alan, he suggested running the water in both the kitchen and bathroom sinks first because the hot water came from a distance. I did try that, but unfortunately the same issue happened again.I would recommend checking the shower before using it by letting it run for about 10 minutes to make sure it stays warm. During a test Alan had me do, the water was still hot after five minutes, but by 10 minutes it had turned cold and never recovered.
