Very good location, annoying to buzz at the door outside to check in. Room spacious with comfortable beds, couch old and sagging though. No elevator although housekeeper assisted with bags.

Room was lovely, location to Windsor Castle perfect, only down side was facing the High Street and very noisy especially between 11pm to 5am, bars, clubs restaurant patrons noisy, loud, yelling and windows not double paned so sleep pattern was not good. It was ok on Thursday but not Good Friday.

Comfy in the heart of Windsor

Great little hidden gem. Steps away from Windsor Castle great staff. The only downside is they don’t have an elevator so if you’re older and have heavy bags can be a little difficult but if you can handle the baggage, the place is wonderful.

The room was fine. As constructive criticism, the curtains were not fully hung properly, and may benefit from a clean (nothing awful, just a few marks.) A couple of minor cobwebs, but none of this would stop me booking another stay. Overall it was a good room. The person who booked me in was very helpful and informative, with a very pleasant persona.

This property was in the perfect location. A 5-minute walk to Windsor Castle and10-minutes to the station. There are tons of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The property itself was clean and well-maintained. It is a self-serve property --- you use a code to get into the building and keys are located in a lockbox. We had zero issues with this process. It was very easy. Our room was very spacious and clean. We overlooked the street and the room was very quiet at night. The only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower but it was not a dealbreaker.

Sleepless in Goswell House

We were greeted by a man who made us feel like he was not happy we were there. He never smiled, spoke the directions too fast as if we had been there before. He then said we had a choice of a first room floor or third (no lift). The first room floor is apparently near a Pub with live music until 3am so, we opted for the third floor. This was also a mistake, because of the amount of luggage we had. He assured us if we did not note the front door code we would not be able to re-enter after 530pm as it is unattended. After going to bed around 9pm, about 130am, the other guests on our floor returned, very loud, slamming doors, banging on doors, up and down the hall. Finally about 330am my husband opened our door to find a young man with beer in hand, talking loud and entering the rooms across from ours. He asked him to keep it down. The door slamming never stopped. We were flying a back to the states the next day and did not get any sleep on that flight either. I will never stay here or any unattended hotel again. There is no one to make sure the guests are being courteous.

such a nice place to stay for a family of 4. a little noisy at night sometimes with "drinkers" coming back. But just have some ear plugs. Great location. just know there is no lift if you on the upper levels.

Such a beautiful place. Great location and directions on how to get in and the area. We just had the front room facing street and very noisy at night (drunk argument at 3:00am on street). But just love the town and how it’s in the heart of it all. I’d recommend ear plugs and you’ll be all set 😊
