Intoxicated add to aboriginal, people, screaming, and yelling /fighting in the hallways all night garbage everywhere in the hallways best Western staff were very kind to us stating that we should ask for Expedia for a refund

The room was dirty stains on the carpet. Had to wear my shoes the whole time I was in the room that’s how gross the carpet was. The door lock was broken. Headboard was filthy on the bed when I complained. They said there was no other room available that I should ask Expedia for a refund. Sent email to expedia.ca and the best Western manager at the Winnipeg best Western airport on Wellington.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and it wreaked of weed all night. Our room smelt like it was the smoking room for every guest. Every guest there was just constantly riding the elevator up and down 1 floor, so it took forever to get the elevator to come get us and make it downstairs. Pretty sure most of the smoke alarms were unplugged from guests unplugging them so they can smoke in their rooms. We tried to switch floors but it was full, so we couldn’t move. Just had to deal with our clothes smelling like stale cigarettes.

This hotel is unsafe and the rooms are not clean. The staff were very accommodating in giving us a second room but unfortunately we still had to ask for a refund and leave. I would not recommend staying here.
