Hotel Simon Wintrich

A very friendly and well kept hotel with a fantastic kitchen and some lovely wines, as you might expect from a hotel in the Mosel. We dined in on 2 nights out of three and had very well prepared local food. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. My only minor criticism is that their ability to deal with credit and debit cards was iffy. That said, we were able to settle our bill without having to resort to cash.

Excellent stay

Lovely hotel. Spacious and comfortable room with a lovely balcony. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We had an evening meal which was ok. The free bus ticket was an added bonus.

A lovely little hotel in a beautiful setting, with Moselle vineyards all around. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and great food, and wine. If we are in this region again, we would know where to stay. Happy to recommend it.

Beautifully renovated boutique hotel with good breakfast and parking. The room was compact but comfortable and modern. Check out took a bit longer than expected as the receptionist couldn't identify that the reservation was prepaid.

Hotel is located in the town of Wintrich which is less hectic in regards to visiting tourists. Good accommodation and helpful staff.

I cannot recommend this hotel. The staff were unhelpful, and the room, whilst reasonably sized with a nice view over the countryside from the balcony, was Spartan in it's equipment and had a very uncomfortable bed. Furthermore dinner was pretty horrible, and breakfast pretty basic. Finally, to add insult to injury it was twice as expensive as the hotel in Nuremburg the next night, and, at best, half as nice.

Very friendly welcome from woman at the front desk. Offered us a welcome drink. Breakfast was good lots of choices. Parking was right in front of our little house. Didn't do much in town but there are lots of wineries and shops up and down the Mosel.

Dejligt sted - giver dem alle stjerner.

Fantastisk oplevelse. Ankommer sent fra Frankrig. Ringer da receptionen burde være lukket på det tidspunkt. Ingen problemer. Restauranten lukkede 20.30 vi var der, de havde allerede noget klart til os - super dejligt og tak. Værelserne store, rummelige og godt indrettet. Sengen enorm. Vi sov godt. Buffeten næste morgen var flot og lækker, der manglede intet. Vi kommer igen og vil nok benytte os af et 3 dages tilbud, hvor man besøger vingård og sejler på Mosel.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das sehr gute Frühstücksbuffet mit reichlich Auswahl und das schöne, moderne und gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Alles war unglaublich sauber - insbesondere auch der Saunabereich, welcher mir meinen Kurzurlaub perfekt abgerundet hat. Leider ist der Ort an sich nichts besonderes, liegt aber günstig für Ausflüge nach z.B. Trier.
