We wouldn't of stayed here without a breakfast. The staff member seemed to think it wasn't a big deal. She blamed expedia for not letting them change what they offer with the time of year.The cost for the room accounted for a full breakfast so it wasn't a good value.

Horrible staff. Had wrong room picture and info on their website and then wouldn’t give me a partial refund (I paid 168$ for a 2 queen room that was supposed to be 2 bedrooms according to their website. While other 2 queen rooms better than mine were 69$ meaning I spent 100$ extra and got a worse room). They also refused to me move me rooms or give me a full refund if I left. Bunch of people who didn’t care and even acknowledged that their website was misleading. But ok guessing it’s misleading on purpose.

I paid an upcharge for a balcony/patio with river view. Well, technically we got that, but our room was on the lowest floor, below the main entrance and lobby, downstairs next to the pool, which was nice. But our view from that room was obstructed by a chain link fence, so to me it wasn’t a great view unless we stood up and looked above the fence. When I returned to the front desk to ask for a different room, since I had paid the upcharge for a room with a view, the desk clerk told me I had paid for “a deck or patio.” I suppose that’s the Gotcha. We paid extra and got a patio, just not the view I was hoping for at this price. The lower floor/downstairs rooms should really have a lower pricing than the upper rooms with full unobstructed views. Also, our room was right next door to the laundry room, and the walls are thin, so we could clearly hear the workers talking early in the morning. Nothing wrong with people talking while working. I just don’t want to wake up next to it on my vacation time and dime. The pool area was very nicely appointed. The hot tub was fantastic. The room was very clean, and we liked the overall property. Just didn’t expect to get an obstructed view after paying the upcharge.

Only good this about this place is "the vue" but that doesn't make up for the dirty rooms, paper thin walls, and bad service. The room was decent but didn't feel fully clean. The people next to us were up until 1 am and you could hear every single conversation and they weren't even being that loud. Went for breakfast at the restaurant and it was completely understaffed. We didn't get a glass of water until after we've been sitting for a half hour. Not to mention when the food finally came it wasn't even warm. The hashbrowns tasted like they were soaked in water. I ordered an omelet with onion & sausage and the entire thing was all onion to the point I couldn't even eat it. The best thing on the plate was the half toasted bread. You also cannot just order a cup of coffee, it has to be Starbucks and it takes another 10-15 to get that. Overpriced. Overall very bad experience, but "the vue" is beautiful.

Needs a lot of upgrades.

Rooms need to be cleaned better, windows that opened would have been nice, pool warmer, sauna fixed, furniture upgrades to maximize space, cleaning the pool area more often.

The room we got was nothing like it showed to book it (deceitful advertising). It felt like going back to the 80’s. We had to get a fly swatter from across the street at the main hotel for the infestation of them. I wish I had brought a pair of slippers, the hardwood floors were filthy. The AC unit was so high you had to stand on a bed to turn it on and it was so filthy that the bed below it was covered in crap from it. There was no place to sit but a broken down chair. The lighting was dim and at night was difficult to see. No nightstands just floor lamps, one with a broken lamp shade. The only reason we are giving this a 3 star was because the location was walking distance to downtown and the shower was hot and the indoor pool area was nice, which of course was in the main hotel building.

We had patio with view of lake. Weeds obstructed nice view. Gates never closed outside so patio was accessible to anyone. Door to patio didn’t close well. No hotel sitting area. Small, smelly ( I bought an air freshener spray) run down rooms. Couldn’t wait to leave.
