Nice rooms, great views, quiet, close to activities. In our check in paperwork, it said Timbavati was free for guests of Natura, (VUE). Arrived at the location, girl at gate stated we needed a ticket from our hotel. Didn't want to drive back for that since it wasn't mentioned in the brochure. Paid for the entry which was kind of expensive.

The staff seems new and constantly have to ask another worker anytime a guest has a question. Also, they give you wristbands to use around the establishment which is inconvenient especially for the simple fact that someone like me has eczema on my wrist and its an irritation. The staff tried to argue that i need to put it on, no ifs ands or buts and i was disappointed in the customer service. Its also a tedious process to check in and on top of the that the rooms dont look exactly like the pictures, as there is enhancements in the photo from the real room. Wasn’t happy and would never go back. Only thing is the balcony view that made it tolerable.

We were unable to sleep as there were running and heavy walking going on over our head from 6pm to 11pm non-stop. Our room was very spacious and clean. We were moved out of our first room due to the tv not working. The staff was great about it.

The Vue is not a good place to stay. The check in process is coercive, requiring all members of one's party to sign waivers on their phones and show proof to the clerk before check in. (This AFTER the non-refundable down payment). Then with the check in, guests are made to scroll through and agree to line after line of rules and penalties. Guests are forced to wear wrist band keys, threatened with eviction if they are found without them. Long lists of rules are posted everywhere, even above the single ice machine. It is clear that guests are barely tolerated. The room was old. The door to the tiny bathroom does not lock. There was an ironing board jammed into the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom was loud, and didn't seem at all effective. The water temperature was VERY DIFFICULT to regulate and slow to respond. I don't believe larger sized guests could use the toilet very easily. The bathroom is that small. The pool was cold and there were moths and dirt in the pool shower room. The pool towels would work as 150 grit sand paper. The windows in the pool room were stained. The signage in that room was dirty. I saw a lot of chipped paint on exterior surfaces. All together, I regret staying at this old, poorly maintained, unfriendly property and will not recommend that anyone else do so.

A mixed review. There are positives and negatives. Check-in staff was rude, and check-in process is grueling. Rest of the staff is very nice. Room/motel is run down, but the bed was the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept in. Restuarant is good. I often had to wait a long time for my food, though. View is INCREDIBLE! Pools/hot tub was nice. Hot tub is big. I think it's worth the price. I'd prob. stay again.

My husband & I stayed there from a Friday till Sunday and really enjoyed the room. It was clean & comfy. We were there for Automotion Weekend & loved it was walking distance from the strip. Got back to our room & was very happy to realize I was able to sit in front of the room window with a glass of wine and still see all the cars driving down our road. We will be staying again next year. Staff was very quick to satisfy any request & everyone in the restaurant when we had dinner there were very nice.
