At the beach

Nice hotel, probably the best location in Wismar if you want to stay close to the sea. You will need a car or take a bus to go to the city center. If you book a single room you will get pretty small room with a single bed, consider to book a double room if you need a bit more space. Breakfast was very good! Staff very nice.

All the employed staff was absolutely great and fantastic! Location is superb if one needs to tune out. We loved the quietness of the hotel. However: Bathrooms need serious updates for even the fixtures of the nineties do. have a way to wear out. Overall, a humble hotel in a beautiful location.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Ein weiterer grosser Vorteil ist, dass die herrliche Seebrücke Wendorf fussläufig schnell erreichbar ist und einen wunderschönen Ausblick bietet.

Für einen Kurztrip in Ordnung, leider wenig Fahrrad Unterstellmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig aber man sollte nicht zu viel Qualität erwarten. Lediglich Aufbackbrötchen (nicht sehr gut), Kaffee war für uns nicht genießbar. Das Zimmer war bei Ankunft recht sauber, die Zwischenreinigung war äußerst Oberflächlich. Wasserkocher im Zimmer sehr verkalkt, Klimaanlage nicht zu gebrauchen, da keine Kühlwirkung. Das Restaurant (trotz Hauptsaison) nur in abgespeckter Form in Betrieb. Kleine, einfache Speisenauswahl. Das wenige Personal war zwar bemüht aber nicht wirklich präsent.

Zimmer: Wir hatten ein schönes großzügiges Doppelzimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. Das Bad war mit einer ebenerdigen Dusche ausgestattet. Der Wasserstrahl am Waschbecken könnte mal neu eingestellt bzw. der Hahn entkalkt werden, da man beim Händewaschen gleich das gesamte Bad unter Wasser setzte. Das Zimmer war sauber und wirkte noch recht neu. Es war alles vorhanden, was man so erwartet: Handtücher, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher mit Tee/Kaffee, Flasche Wasser, Bademantel und Seife/Duschgel. Service: Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lediglich beim Abendessen warteten wir etwas länger bis wir bestellen konnten (20-30 min). Das Essen kam dann allerdings erstaunlich schnell. Umgebung: Der Strand in Wismar ist kein besonders malerischer Badestrand. Es ist zwar ein Sandstrand, aber nicht sehr weitläufig nach links und rechts und nicht besonders breit. Man kann allerdings sehr weit flach ins Wasser laufen. Vom Strand aus hat man aber immer den Blick auf den Industriehafen Wismar. Nicht sehr idyllisch, aber zum Baden/Sonnen ausreichend. Um das Hotel herum gibt es keine Restaurants. Mit dem Auto fährt man etwa 10-15 Minuten in die Wismarer Innenstadt, wo sich Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden. Wellness: Die Sauna kostet 20€/Person/Tag und wird nur auf Bestellung eingeschaltet. Insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Ein schönes hotel mit gutem Zimmern, nette Service Kräfte und einer schönen Terrasse. Gute Küche zB Rindsroulade mit rotkohl. Das Restaurant hat leider Montag und Dienstag abend geschlossen, on der Nähe gibt es nichts anderes. Ein wirklich sehr umfassendes Frühstücksangebot Wir kommen wieder.

Hotel Seeblick ist eines der schlechtesten Hotels, bei denen ich bisher war. Hier stimmt nichts: katastrophaler Service, sehr schlechte Reinigung der Zimmer und des Hotels, eine Zimmerausstattung, die kaum zu unterbieten ist, grottenschlechtes Frühstück mit verdorbenen Lebensmitteln und Wurst, die bis zum vorletzten Tag ausgelegt wurde (trotz Beschwerde) obwohl sie seit 14 Tagen abgelaufen war, sehr schlecht geschultes, kaum deutsch sprechendes Personal. Dazu hat das Restaurant Preise, die um 10 Euro höher waren als z.B. im Touristen-Magnet Boltenhagen. Da bekommt man schon mal 'nen Eiskaffee mit billigster Sprühsahne serviert. Ich kann nur Jedem empfehlen, die Bewertungen genau durchzulesen und nicht den vollmundigen Lobpreisungen der Seeblick-Webseite zu vertrauen. Wir haben bei unserem Aufenthalt niemanden getroffen, der nicht über die maximal unhaltbaren Zustände geschimpft hat.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach unglaublich schön, daher nimmt die nicht so positiven Dinge locker in Kauf. Das Frühstück ist nicht besonders abwechslungsreich und auch die nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage waren nicht der Bringer. Aber der Besuch hat sich trotzdem gelohnt, durch die perfekte Lage direkt an der Ostsee...
