Outstanding, luxurious hotel a few kms away from Mount Bromo. We booked 2 deluxe attic rooms. Rooms were sumptuous, each with 3 beds and a shared living area. Views, when the clouds didn’t drop, were breathtaking. Food was excellent - the best we had in Java. Staff were incredibly helpful. Hotel can arrange trips to see Bromo but do book this in advance. If you want to see Bromo in luxury this is the place for you.

Bromo in luxury - 10/10

Outstanding, luxurious hotel a few kms away from Mount Bromo. We booked 2 deluxe attic rooms. Rooms were sumptuous, each with 3 beds and a shared living area. Views, when the clouds didn’t drop, were breathtaking. Food was excellent - the best we had in Java. Staff were incredibly helpful. Hotel can arrange trips to see Bromo but do book this in advance. If you want to see Bromo in luxury this is the place for you. There’s a lot of basic accommodation on the Bromo slopes. Plataran will cost more but is excellent value for the very high standard of accommodation.

it was pleasant stay with exceptional view. nothing more we could ask. unfortunately we have to rushed back to town as we have urgent thing to take care, hence we cant review the breakfast provided.

Mar Stay at Plataran

Amazing hotel. We got a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The view (when clear) from the hotel was stunning. Hotel service was great, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Food options around the vicinity however were rather limited given the Hotel's location. Also in Mar it was raining every day - better to come during non monsoon season middle of the year.

outstanding service

this place is so awesome. great location and amenities. food was excellent and the service staff was top class working with a genuine smile on their faces all the time. kudos to all at Plataran Bromo and their new GM.

Bonfire dinner 🔥👍

The new hotel manager, Vivek, welcomed us warmly at our arrival and was sure to take care of anything we needed. It can get pretty chilly in the evenings on top of the mountain on which the hotel is situated, so we asked for a bonfire dinner. Vivek made it happen. The special Indonesian meal was excellent and the fire surely warm.
