Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The pool is in a separate building so i didn't go because it turned cold and windy outside. Nice place.

My room was disgusting. After driving for 12 hrs I wanted to have a nice relaxing bath. The tub had a dirty ring around it which I cleaned. I got into the tub and noticed a pubic hair under the tap. That was disgusting. I let the water out and decided to take a shower. I reached for the rubber mat on the floor next to the vanity and noticed hair and dirt on the floor next to the mat. I did have a very quick shower and I noticed a urine smell in the bathroom. The hinges that connect the toilet seat to the toilet had no cover over the screws and there was dirt and hair and what I presume was urine on them. Needless to say there was no chance of me going into the pool. I cant imagine how unsanitary it may have been. That was the most disgusting motel room that I have ever stayed in I assumed that by choosing the Howard Johnson motel it would be clean but I was wrong. I do not recommend that anyone stay there. I am very disappointed as it was not a cheap motel. I will not be staying at another one

Property and rooms are tired and lacking attention to detail. Outside our room a cigarette deposit thing had typed over and stunk to high heaven. Blinds in the bathroom were filthy and the foot coverlet on the bed was dirty. The staff were friendly but didn’t make up for the poor quality.

I chose this hotel because they were pet friendly. They weren't the cheapest in the area but they should have been. We had booked a king size bed but when I arrived after traveling all day, we were advised that our room had undergone water damage and we were now in a room with two queen beds. Not a dealbreaker but not what I had booked. The place didn't appear to be full. We went to our room (room 127) and opened the door. No light fixture just inside the room so it's a bit dark. I noticed a musty smell as soon as I walked in but that still didn't mean I was unhappy with the room. What did it for me was the filthy heat pump which didn't work so I was unable to turn it on to the dry setting to try to alleviate the damp smell. In the morning when I opened the curtains, the window pane was soaking wet with condensation and there was black mold growing in the corners of the windowsill. There were tiny dead bugs all stuck to the ceiling in the bathroom as well. One issue I could have dealt with. The mold is definitely a dealbreaker. I went to the front desk with photos and showed the clerk the condition of the room. She advised me that she can't give me a discount but wanted me to write down all the things I showed her and her manager would contact me. Of course, nobody contacted me. The black mold is a big problem and they better hope nobody with any clout sees it. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The room itself was ok...was spacious and appeared to be clean until we started unpacking and settling in...my son opened the dresser drawer and found a pair of disgustingly worn work socks that looked like they're been there for quite sometime..i'll leave it at that.... Then in another drawer my son found a Bible thats been there for years with some very disgusting things written inside of it..more so deeply appalling, even to someone not religious!...it actually had dates written in it as well and was from years past...definitely not something anyone wants to see or read...its sick what people find amusing to desecrate...

The bathroom is the main issue, electric socket is open with no cover and beside the sink. The sink is clog with sitting water when we first checked into the room.

The room was not very clean . In particular the washroom was dirty . The sink also did not drain properly . The staff were friendly but would not recommend due to uncleanliness . If you just need a bed to sleep in for the night I guess it’s all right but not ideal .

Luked that they had apower bar in the room.. Never enough plugs in a usual room. Coffee pot didnt work properly. Beds were good...pets stayed free which is a big bonus
