Spacious property in a great location

We recently stayed at this property to do college visits in Worcester - the location was great for that, allowing us to get to the campuses in less than 15 minutes. The home has tons of space, including MANY bathrooms (always a plus). It was very easy to find things we needed, and the host was a very clear and prompt communicator when we had questions. Her expectations for cleanup are very reasonable (just taking out the garbage). The host was also very generous in supplying small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc., as well as having things like qtips and even menstrual products out - we had brought our own supplies along, but it was nice to see those thoughtful touches.A few notes for other guests to know about - not cons, but "be aware" of: the house has a fair number of steps and you can't enter or access a bedroom without using them; the couch is not the most comfy, but we were mostly off adventuring so no big thing; there weren't a TON of drinking glassware, so if you had a group of more than 6, you might want to bring some disposable cups

Home needs some attention

The home has a nice layout and good potential, but there were several maintenance and cleanliness issues during our stay. The dining room window was cracked, and the main level bathroom had a broken door and a shower door without a working track. We found used towels in the kitchen and lower level bathroom, and window sills were noticeably dirty.There were goldfish crackers under the coffee table from a previous guest, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The kitchen was sparsely stocked with dishes, very few regular drinking glasses. The house also did seem to have some electrical issues, with many light switches not working. The smoke alarm had also been removed.The deck had rotting boards, and poison ivy in the backyard, which had been mentioned in a review weeks earlier but was still present. When we asked the owner, she said she wasn’t aware of it. The deck could have been an enjoyable place to relax, if it had been better maintained and didn't have a security camera watching.Some of the furniture and rugs were stained, and many of the light switches and outlets could use a deep cleaning. With some more thorough cleaning and general maintenance, this property could be much more enjoyable.

The rugs are very used. The shower upstairs is rusty,the settee in the living room has big divots in the seat area where you sit makes them uncomfortable.the pictures are nicer than the unit isthe backyard has poison ivy in it

Great Experience

Thank you for our little stay-cation! The property was beautiful and was exactly as expected. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. My only wish was for more mirrors for us all to do our make up. But we made it work.
