My stay at The Railway Hotel was wonderful. The room was spotless and I was very impressed with its unique lay out. Our party of 36 had the 3-course Christmas meal the evening before and the staff, food and service was spectacular! Jess and the team went above and beyond to ensure our evening was one to remember. Breakfast the following morning was also fantastic.
Only thing I would pass on as feedback is that the area outside does get very noisy at night. I was staying at the front of the hotel facing the train station and there were roadworks at 3am which stopped me from sleeping until past 4. I understand this is out of the hotels control and maybe doesn’t happen often but it’s something to take into consideration- any noise made outside at night will echo through the rooms. My colleagues staying on lower floors on the rear side of the building said they heard nothing so perhaps just an unlucky evening.
I would thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to book in future and thanks again for a wonderful time.
