Top Floor Suite of classic 1940's Beach Cottage

This charming classic 1940's beach cottage is just steps from the beach, shops & local dining! A comfortable, cozy "at home" feeling with warm earthy tones, wood floors and cedar paneling accent this top floor suite's 3 bedrooms, one bath, separate living room, kitchen, and dining area. Feel like you are up in an aerie and enjoy sea breezes on the front porch in rocking chairs with and view of the ocean a half-block away. This single floor suite accommodates smaller groups of up to six adults but it can be combined with the main floor- "Captain's Quarters" below, as a whole house rental for larger family gatherings, via a central spiral stairway. The door to this stairway will remain locked if rented individually. "Captain's Quarters" is named for the nautical feel evoked by the rope-wrapped central spiral stair. Originally built in 1920 this property has been renovated several times but still retains the warm feel of a Classic cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay on the top floor of this 1940s beach cottage. It was clean and the location was excellent with a short walk to the beach. The porch is amazing with a view of the ocean in the distance. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice that beach chairs were provided as well as other beach equipment (paddle ball, wagon, boogie boards etc...) The owner was very kind and responsive.
