Our detached vacation home, measuring approximately 125 square meters, is located in the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park near Wunsiedel in northeastern Bavaria. Enjoy a vacation surrounded by nature—our vacation home is the perfect starting point, with the forest beginning just 50 meters away.<br>Our home offers plenty of space for the whole family to relax and play. An approximately 1,500-square-meter, partially fenced-in garden—just for you. A charcoal grill (April through September) under the old chestnut trees invites you to enjoy long evenings of barbecuing. Various fruit trees and bushes (feel free to pick the fruit) and plenty of seating options are also available. If needed (not in winter, October through March), a children’s slide, a playhouse, and a swing/nest are available; there’s also space for a hammock and a hanging chair. Plenty of books and games (for all ages, including those inspired by Maria Montessori) are provided. The lawn is mowed occasionally, and parts of it are left in their natural state.<br>Our lovingly furnished vacation home, featuring some old, thick walls and historic ceiling beams, has a cozy, fully equipped kitchen-living room with a large wooden table that seats up to 10 people (microwave, filter coffee maker, and a Krups Nespresso capsule machine, egg cooker, 2 toasters, various baking utensils, a blender, an immersion blender, a kettle, a pizza stone, and a cast-iron wok); of course, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, and dishcloths are provided. <br>A living room with a wood-burning stove and satellite TV (Netflix and Amazon Prime available with your own profile), as well as four bedrooms: two bedrooms are furnished with double beds, and the other two rooms each have two single beds; one of these can be pushed together to form a double bed measuring 200 x 200 cm upon request. In two of the rooms, a guest bed and/or, upon request, a crib can be added. Bed linens are provided.<br>A bathroom with a bathtub (no toilet) and a walk-in rain shower with a toilet are located on the first floor. On the upper floor, there is a small restroom with a sink, so no one has to go downstairs at night. Toilet paper and liquid soap are provided in all bathrooms.<br>Suitable for 2 families with up to 6 children or with grandparents, making it ideal for up to 10–12 people. Our house is not suitable for people with mobility impairments or wheelchair users.<br>Bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, and spare bed linens are provided. If needed, we also have 4 sets of hypoallergenic pillowcases and a 6.7 kg therapy blanket. <br>The cleaning fee is 100 euros and must be paid before arrival. From October through March (heating season), an additional flat fee of 50 euros per week applies, which must also be paid in advance.<br>The Fichtelgebirge, with its well-developed network of trails, is perfect for hiking and biking. We recommend visiting Bayreuth, Nuremberg, Regensburg, Leipzig, or Dresden, and Prague is also a great destination for a day trip.<br>"Almost everything" is already provided in your new temporary home—just pack your bags and bring your loved ones along.<br>Babies and toddlers under three years of age stay free of charge (a crib, high chair, and changing table are included); please do not include them in your booking.
