The holiday home "Gute Stube" is part of the original farmhouse of the smallholding "Hufe 9". Just recently - and lovingly - renovated, this little gem now accommodates up to 4 guests in the middle of the outstanding natural beauty of the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte.

With direct access to Lake Plätlin it offers both relaxation as well as more active holiday pursuit options (swimming, paddling, hiking etc). The southfacing terrace provides an ideal backdrop for evening BBQs.

Arrive, take a deep breath and lose track of time. As the mist rises over Lake Plätlin and the Mecklenburg Lake District grows noticeably quieter, the "Gute Stube" unfolds its very special magic. In our listed farmhouse from 1867, which was completely renovated in 2024, historic charm meets modern high-end design. The perfect place for a mindful getaway during the low season.

A yoga mat is waiting for you in the entrance area. The weak mobile reception in the house supports your "Digital Detox," while our stable fiber-optic Wi-Fi (100 MBit) still gives you the freedom to stream music or work relaxed from your home away from home (workation).

3. Nature Experience & Activity Right On Your Doorstep: In the off-season nature is almost yours alone. A mowed path leads you across our 6,000 sqm property directly to the lakeshore, ideal for silent contemplation or yoga by the water. Active travellers will appreciate the direct access to the Mecklenburg Lake Cycle Path and the Pilgrimage Trail. Your dog is also very welcome here and will love the wide fields and open spaces all around.
