The Hotel Flamingo can be found 25 kilometres from the heart of Xerta. Another alternative is the Parador de Tortosa, which is positioned 11 kilometres away. Two other places to stay include the hotel SB Corona and the Hotel Berenguer IV.

Don't hit the road without taking a look at what's on offer in the rest of the area. Catalonia has beaches and coastal plains, as well as common Catalonia tourist attractions like the ruins, castles and old towns. Visitors and locals alike in this section of Spain can also enjoy mountain biking.

35 kilometres to the south of Xerta you'll find Alcanar, where you can visit the Port of Les Cases d'Alcanar and Alcanar Church. The Hotel Carlos III and Rusticae Tancat de Codorniù are some of the great long and short-stay options in Alcanar. 60 kilometres to the east of Xerta, you'll find Salou, home to the Acqua Hotel Salou and Catalonia Gardens. The Aquopolis, Port Aventura Theme Park and Levante Beach are amongst the more popular attractions to explore when you're in Salou.
