The picturesque village is within the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by the beautiful countryside between Tavistock and Plymouth, the area offers guests a slice of quiet rural village life. Inside, the cottage is presented to a very good standard to ensure a relaxing stay and benefits from a welcoming wood burner in the living area and a comfortable bedroom upstairs.
It’s ideal for walkers as there are numerous footpaths from the front door, or head up onto Dartmoor National Park for more challenging walking. During your stay, a visit to Tavistock, the historic port of Plymouth, and the interesting Morwellham Quay all make for a great day out. There is a delightful old pub, renowned for its good food, a level walk from the cottage, as well as shops and a garage in Yelverton. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
