We had a lovely stay overall. The house itself is beautiful—very clean, comfortable, and well suited for a large group. The bedrooms were great, and the common spaces were especially nice for spending time together.However, there were some significant issues with the kitchen during our stay. The dishwasher was out of order, and for the first 24 hours the kitchen sink was not working either. We notified the hosts Thursday evening, but unfortunately someone wasn’t able to come repair the sink until Friday around 4pm. With 18 people staying in the house, not having a dishwasher was already a challenge, and not having a working sink made cooking and cleaning extremely difficult. We had to alter several of our cooking plans and ended up purchasing paper plates, cups, and utensils so we could manage meals while the sink was out of order.The home itself is wonderful and we enjoyed being there, but the lack of a functioning sink and dishwasher for a large group was a significant inconvenience especially for the amount of money we spent to stay there.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a family emergency and the hotel was kind enough to extend our check out time by an extra hour so we wouldn’t have to rush and stress to check out on time. Will definitely book here again if we’re ever back in the Portsmouth area.
