Room was 5 star but the breakfast reminded me of a 3 star Crest Hotel in the 1980s. It certainly fell well short of the room. Overall, I would say the room was value for the discounted price paid. If I stayed there again, I would find somewhere else to have breakfast and in York there are plenty of options.

Lovely hotel, staff were amazing, always smiling, helpful. Room was beautiful, lovely bathroom and always clean and topped up with towels, coffee, milk and water in the fridge, bed was lovely and comfortable. Thank you ☺️
