Great hotel in a convenient position

We loved our stay at the Westin Zagreb. The staff were wonderful, and catered to our booking requests with no problems at all. Great location just a short walk to the centre of the city, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was fantastic, although the restaurant was undergoing renovations at the time. A great experience all around!

Definitely not 4 or 5 star

When we arrived it took us a long time to check in due to staff member answering at least five phone calls. The bath tub in the hotel was dirty with a ring of soap scum like it had not been cleaned at all. There was no hot water from 9-12 at night and when we called the hotel they said it because everyone is showering. It happened again the next morning until we checked out at 1130. The staff continue to answer several phone calls while trying to check people in and out making the waiting time very long. Also with 4 staff members at the desk only two of them were attending to guests and phone calls. Iv stayed at many hostels for a quarter of the price and much better service.
