Great stay at Coshocton Inn.
Staff were wonderful and friendly. I was in town for a funeral and I had a flat tire so I needed to extend my stay for one more day. Rob at the front desk was great. He got me into a room for a second night and on his way home called my room to offer his air compressor in the car to get the flat up and running until I could get to a garage. The ladies who made the breakfast were super friendly and attentive. Friendly staff.

Hostile Foul-Smelling Staff Member
The front desk agent is either demon possessed or possibly mentally ill. Her body odor is so strong that permeates through her perfume. She attempted to give my children (ages 5 & 3) crayons & coloring books, but they ran away from her and hid behind me at our table in the dining room. I asked them if they wanted me to go with them to accept the coloring books. They agreed, so we walked over to the agent together. She asked me what the children were afraid of; I explained that the children are afraid of people. She turned away angrily while stating that she has a bubbly, outgoing personality and that they clearly misjudged her”. After the agent repositioned herself behind the front desk counter, she went on a tirade of wild accusations involving racism, in that her belief was that when I said the children are afraid of people, she knew that I really meant black people. The conversation deteriorated into a full blown argument. The hotel manager subsequently emerged and instructed the desk agent three separate times to “walk away”. The agent openly refused. I explained to the hotel manager that my children are afraid of strangers and the hotel manager agreed that her children react the same way. I turned to the desk agent and said, “nobody cares what color you are, people just don’t want to be called racist because things don’t go they way you want them to. Don’t play the race card with me.” The manager apologized for agents behavior and we subsequently checked-out.

The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Didn't get a good night's sleep. The room was really hot too even though we had turned the heat down. We eventually turned on the air conditioning because the heat was uncomfortable.

Check in was easy. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Bed was really hard but we asked for an extra comforter as a mattress pad and it worked great.
