We had a comfortable stay here but the hotel is very basic. The room itself was comfortable but there was no air condition and the bathroom was dated. However, it's in a great location and we enjoyed being able to walk out of the front door straight into the city.

Great location, clean, excellent staff, no air conditioning as website states. Rooms have a swivel fan and windows open. Still quite hot inside with the hot outside temps. Stairs to reception a bit difficult with heavy luggage. Walkable to everything.

Absolutely amazing location. Transit to anywhere in the country is steps away, and there are restaurants and museums in easy walking distance. My only word of warning is, like everywhere I stayed, they do not have air conditioning which I suspect isn't usually a problem, but isn't fun in a heat wave.

No air conditioning, which was sweltering at night. Had to have windows open at night just to try and keep cool, but had to dodge the mosquitoes. Beds made up for autumn/winter stay, but we visited mid June so had to strip these ourselves just to try and get some sort of sleep. In terms of closeness to main shopping/travel this was good, some great places to eat/drink nearby but would choose a different hotel if staying in Zurich again.

The hotel was okay. Room was very old and small and with no AC it was almost unbearable. The fan was not very helpful even with the windows open. The location however was great. Right in old part of town on the river and easy walking. Parking in the area though is VERY expensive (55 CHF for one night).

The staff and service here is fantastic! Great breakfast and shuttle to Zermatt. Beautiful, convenient area. Terrifying parking. Missed AC a little bit, but weather was cool enough that it wasn’t unbearable.

The good: easy check in, very clean, coffee/tea bar accessible, clean bathroom, beds were comfy, fan provided. Less good: my oversight but there is no AC which made things significantly less comfy. The window opens but not in a way that the cool night air can actually freely flow into the room. Water pressure was adequate but temperature fluctuated pretty significantly. Overall, very nice and clean and great proximity to train station any old town.

I liked this hotel! It was in a pretty good location (close to the train station which was convenient for us) and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was a little expensive but I believe the price was on par with other hotels in the area. I believe the country is just kind of expensive overall. Definitely recommend this hotel.
