We booked three double rooms and all three were clean, comfortable and spacious. None of us could hear any noise from adjoining rooms. The heating worked well but the windows also opened wide for fresh air from the central courtyard. We asked for extra hangers (they supply quite a few, but I had many items which required hanging) and reception were happy to give me more. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Several times during our long stay we went to the bar (open 24/7) to get boiling water, cutlery and plates or fresh glasses of water and the staff were always friendly and helpful. There is also some food available from the bar and we enjoyed the range of toasted sandwiches which come with crisps. We asked reception for restaurant recommendations and they really listened to what kind of food we were looking for and made an appropriate, excellent recommendation, which was only a few minutes walk away. The breakfasts were fantastic, including a variety of teas, coffee, a large assortment of fresh bread and lots of pastries, spreads, cold meats, cheeses, hot boiled eggs, muesli, cereal, various milks, fruit salad, a fruit bowl as well as sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. Our family enjoyed meeting up in the dining area each morning to enjoy the food and there are several lounge areas to relax in too. I highly recommend this hotel.

So overwhelmingly pleased with this hotel! Very nice, clean well appointed. Shower and bed are both fantastic! Probably best bed I slept on in Europe this trip. Only downside is it's a bit away from everything, but only a short walk to trains and stores

Our room was huge! And very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny. We loved our location! There were umbrellas available which we very much appreciated. One complaint is that the main door to the hotel is up a flight of stairs. Very difficult to grag heavy baggage up and down those stairs. Nobody there to help. It is incredibly convenient having a 24 hour bar and restaurant on the premises. I will stay there again

24 hour bar with espresso bar (no minibar in room but you can go down and get a drink or coffee whenever you want) friendly staff. Beautiful courtyard area, and close to the train station. You’re a little farther from the main city center but it’s a quick train ride (1 stop) to the main station in Zurich. Beautiful building, clean rooms and windows fully open so it was nice to air out the room and sleep with the windows open at night. Very quiet. Rooms aren’t anything over the top but the beds are comfortable and you have enough room for multiple pieces of luggage. Nice showers and the hair dryers worked great and were powerful. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous building poor service

I stay in this hotel often due to business and it is a shame how the customer service is not always good. In previous stayed when I check in I requested to modify the booking from 1 person to 2 and she said yes no problem with has fantastic . To my surprise when my colleague arrived at 10pm the new person in reception refused to check her in saying it was not possible to modify the reservation, I had to wake up come downstairs to understand what was the issue, we needed to pay the taxes for the 2nd person which was absolutely fine. It was the manner she spoke to us, it is a massive difference to say “no, it is not possible unless you pay for an extra person “ to absolutely, let me check you in, how do you want to pay the tax difference of 7 £? It could have safe 30 minutes or argument and waking me up

Motel One Zürich is a large hotel, but everything is impressively well organized, making check-in and getting around smooth and hassle-free. The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully maintained, with a comfortable, well-made bed ,Breakfast is delicious and well presented, . Despite the hotel’s size, it maintains a welcoming and efficient atmosphere, combining modern style with excellent service.
