Nice place with terrace overlooking the gardens so very pleasant on a warm sunny evening. Pool very clean and was nice to swim in but I wouldn’t call the overall faculty an ‘oasis’ - it feels a bit more functional than that. Nice and friendly staff at both reception and in the restaurant. Very modern and obviously renovated bathroom which made my room feel very liveable in but thin walls in the bedroom and I could hear coughing from the room next door. Overall the place is tranquil and relaxing but just a bit tired in places.

The setting of the hotel in an old large farm house is very special in the modern suburbs of Aalborg. The bus to the Centrum is at the entrance of the property. The breakfast at this hotel was outstanding! We enjoyed the sauna and the pool immensely however the best part of the experience was staff who were attentive, kind and informative. We loved our stay there!

Incredible service and staff

The hotel is in a beautiful location just outside Aalborg. The staff are professional and provide a beautiful service! My favourite was Louisa in reception (10/10) and the serving staff in the restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable and the main hotel plus restaurant are kept in perfect condition. The hotel has a lovely pool, sauna and spa which was wonderful after a busy day to relax in. Free car parking and easy public transport busses.

Rooms definitely need entire renovations, carpet too old , smells, patio very nice to have it in some rooms but can’t leave the door open, lots of spiders will get into the room and mosquitoes. A nice restaurant and hotel facility. But the room was much smaller than informed on hotels.com, and the hotel charged the highest rates we have experienced ever for bringing a dog (60 eur). The pool was closed for cleaning during pool opening hours. Great food in the restaurant though!

Over rated and very expensive for the quality

Dirty duvet under an open duvet cover, floor and carpet were uneven and humid (unit k, room 38), except for the bathroom, which has a radiant floor. Old hotel. Make sure to have an upper floor room to avoid moisture problem. As for the staff and the lobby, they were impeccable. Should be more a 2 stars for the standard rooms. 4 stars is largely over rated.

Location was convenient for a stopover after getting off the Hirtshals ferry. Pleasant, up-market hotel with lots of facilties. Well kept. Pros : Friendly staff, easy check in and digital check-out. Modern and spacious room. Toiletries and kettle provided. Cons: during my stay on Saturday night parking was a challenge. There was a function on so all spaces were taken. Ended up parking on the grass at the front of the hotel (which the staff confirmed was OK). Building is old so don't expect the best sound proofing - slamming doors and loud conversations do travel. In summary, excellent value for a high-end stay with some slight compromises. Would stay again.

Far too few activity offers such as mini golf, shuffleboard, billiards, darts, and the like. Great for running, walking and cycling, but it doesn't make up for poor offers otherwise. I hit my head several times on the low ceiling in our room on the first floor; such a room ought to be cheaper than rooms on the ground floor. Furthermore, soundproofing between rooms is poor. This is not a hotel - On a good day it's a motel

Discounted service all the way through and no cleaning of the room. On Hotels.com it is stated there is daily cleaning of the room which is wrong. The standard is no daily cleaning which should be mentioned on Hotels.com. Even in the junior suite there is no telephone, no minibar and no air condition. The junior suite I stayed in was more than dated. The restaurant is at best average and therefore clearly overpriced. Value for money doesn't makes sense to consider, and no, of course I will not stay in the hotel (motel) again.
