Our Village hotel experience

Staff were very helpful and friendly, hotel has a very modern look, pool was great and reception staff in spa area very nice, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent too. Nice comfortable bed, clean room. Plenty of disabled parking spaces right outside entrance.

Pleasant enough for the money

Stayed here for a second time. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Service is good. Suggest you check in with a person and not on the DIY screens. Breakfast was good. Coffee machines are tempermental though! Lots of people use the on site gym, so its a busy place. Didn't get to use the pool, but it's £5 for a 24 hour pass. Be aware parking isnt free, which is bizarre as it's on the edge of the city and tonnes of parking at the hotel and surrounding businesses/offices.

Good hotel

Stayed here for a weekend with my husband and daughter and we’d definitely stay here again. Great food, friendly staff who can’t do enough for you and the leisure facilities were also good.

Excellent hotel

Great stay here as part of a one night stay. Really nice room (Club Room) and staff all very friendly. Great gym and pool facilities. Good choice of food and beverage outlets - one complaint was cost of food in bar. Very expensive for what it is and was the only mark down on my stay.

Very disappointing that there was a lot of banging that started at 5.55am followed by koud music as it appears there is a gym work out that starts at 6am so think they need to consider this for other guests that have roo.s close to gym

Be careful what room this hotel assigns you

I was given room 237, the music from the gym that is immediately below was very loud and so were the gym users dropping their weights. I told the front desk and they apologised but couldn’t do anything. I waited until the gym closed at 10am to work until late. I unfortunately could not sleep much since at 5am music started blasting even louder than the previous day. About the room, the carpet was sticky, shower reached only warm temperature and breakfast was meagre with food quality being disappointing. Wont cone back to this boom box.
