Air New Zealand flies direct to a few places. You can catch a direct flight from Auckland to Taipei, Melbourne, and Sydney. Want to travel a bit farther? You can also fly halfway across the world without a layover with flights to Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Houston.

Is there free Wi-Fi on Air New Zealand flights?
Many Air New Zealand planes are Wi-Fi enabled, but it may not be free. If you’re flying on the fancy new A321neos and A320neos, you’ll definitely have Wi-Fi available on your flight. The 777-300 and 777-200 planes are first in line to get Wi-Fi, so there is a good chance you’ll be able to connect. For all their other aircraft, they are constantly rolling out Wi-Fi connectivity. There’s usually a fee, but Air New Zealand does offer promotional periods where you can use the Wi-Fi totally free.

Does Air New Zealand provide food?
All Air New Zealand flights offer complimentary tea and coffee. If you are feeling a bit peckish on a flight to or from Australia, meals and free-of-charge drinks are offered to The Works and Works Deluxe passengers. Seat and Seat + Bag passengers can buy snacks and drinks, using a credit card, Airpoints Dollars, or voucher for payment.
