For a fabulous vacation on Mexico's Mayan Riviera, look no further than Villa Akumal Sunset. Located two miles south of Akumal, Mexico, this South Akumal vacation villa is the perfect place to enjoy a tranquil, tropical getaway. A lovely split level villa that can accommodate up to 12 people with rooftop pool with stunning views.
Perfect for 2 families or friends that want their own space, but yet can vacation together as the units are separated by an external staircase that leads to the rooftop pool.

The lower level offers two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed. The master bedroom has glass doors that open right up onto the terrace and beach and offers a delightful view of the ocean. The guest bedroom has a lovely garden view and shares a bathroom with the entertainment area. Here you'll find satellite TV, along with two single beds. A pair of bamboo blinds can separate this ½ bedroom, from the living room, making it ideal for children.

The upper level has the same floor plan as the lower villa. However, the upper floor ½ bedroom, which is off the main living room has a king size bed. This area has a view of the ocean and can be closed off to the living room with curtains or this can be used as a day or night space to watch TV and hang out. Additionally, the upper floor has a wonderful veranda overlooking the ocean.

Step outside into the warmth of the Caribbean sun and see why Akumal is the jewel of the Mayan Riviera. Just a few steps across the white sand beach lie the turquoise waters of the bay, protected by a double barrier reef just 100 yards offshore. Spectacular coral formations and exotically colored and patterned fish await you as you snorkel the calm, clear water. Back on the beach enjoy the shade under a thatched palapa roof or relax with a margarita in a hammock beneath the palms.

Back inside you will appreciate both of the villa's air conditioning, high ceilings and cool white rattan furniture. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and boasts a breakfast bar with bar stools. The dining table seats up to six guests. The lower villa veranda has a new beautiful long wooden table that will accommodate 10-12 guests. Your South Akumal vacation villa is located in a gated residential community that is tranquil and private. A quick drive two miles north or a more leisurely beach walk brings you to the village of Akumal, with its restaurants, bars, sailing, diving, fishing and other activities. Akumal, Mexico is in the heart of the Mayan Riviera, making it the perfect location from which to explore the numerous cenotes, Mayan ruins, caves and other attractions the coast offers.
