The hotel itself looks nice from outside. Inside the bar area was welcoming. We arrived Friday night so the bar was busy, and there was a disco ongoing. They also had the football on large screens. Staff were pleasant, but the room was extremely dated. It was very damp smelling and affected my asthma. The bathroom is tiny, but functional. Nice flufffy towels, but only soap and shampoo by way of complimentary bathroom products. No hairdryer in the room. The beds were acceptable for one night, but sleeping was difficult given the ongoing loud music until midnight then other guests being loud in the corridors either leaving the bar or entering their rooms. The ground floor bedrooms are next to the carpark, so cars are parked next to the window. We didn’t have breakfast as it doesn’t start until 8am, so can't comment on that. I would say, if you’re staying for a function and just need somewhere to lay your head, this is fine for that. But if you need to sleep before an early or busy next day, it's not very appropriate.
