June 2025 Tail of the Dragon trip

We needed a place to stay for our vacation to the Tail of the Dragon along US 129 and we chose this one. The hotel was clean and the ladies doing the house keeping were very nice! They always made sure we had everything we needed. We loved how much space the room had, we didn't feel closterphobic at all like you do in some hotel rooms. We liked how they upgraded to a smart TV which we could watch any streaming service or regular TV. The only 2 things that were not so great was the wifi access and the fact that we couldn't pay for our room in cash when we got there. When on vacation, we like to pay in cash as there are alot of theft/fraud on cards when going out of state, so being able to pay in cash should be an option for safety purposes.

This property was perfect for our family of 5. It had everything we needed, the breakfast was awesome, and the rooms were very spacious. I was impressed with the breakfast. They had so many options and we loved the breakfast sandwiches you could make. The only issue was the bathroom floors were a little dirty. Overall, I’d hands down stay here again.

Great Stay

We were visiting for two nights so we could attend our nephew's graduation form University of Tennessee. This hotel was perfect. It was a decent distance from campus, but that worked great for our crew. I appreciate the text messages we received while staying to ensure we didn't need anything. That was helpful and avoided us for a need to call the front desk for more shower gel and a new box of tissues. If and when we are back in the Knoxville area we would stay again.

The hotel was very clean and had an excellent breakfast and store for food options. The room itself had everything needed to meet our needs, the only thing we lacked was more than one chair for when we ate in the room.
