The owners have taken care of the recent renovation for an unforgettable stay.

Bright and elegant apartment, second floor of a historic building in a quiet street of the historical center, composed of a living room with double sofa bed, large kitchen and elegant double bedroom with double wardrobe for both men and women, air conditioning and flat screen TV, bathroom with shower. Its beautiful roof of exposed old beams and its subdivision of the rooms all with its own window make it very elegant and characteristic, to live a holiday with all the necessary comforts.

Very intimate and quiet, just 100 meters from the sea and 50 meters from Piazza Civica; you arrive in a moment at the port and its wonderful white sandy beaches on the side "lido San Giovanni" (North). Instead, always on foot along the Dante (South) promenade there is a wonderful rocky cove equipped where you can admire the famous sunsets on Capo Caccia.

The house consists of three separate rooms all equipped with a window. A kitchen equipped with everything necessary to satisfy the most demanding people, a living room furnished with great taste that can accommodate two people in a comfortable sofa bed with 18 cm mattress. a beautiful double bedroom and a bathroom with window, very elegant with disengagement for the suitcases.
The apartment so positioned has a special charm. Wifi, Air Conditioning, TV, washing machine, dishwasher.

Also present in the house a parasol and two sun loungers for the beaches not equipped.

The door of the vintage building overlooks one of the most reserved and silent streets of the historic center of Alghero, a stone's throw from the most representative square in the center (Piazza Civica); you will have at your fingertips all the most characteristic bars, restaurants and bars in the center and on the promenade along the ancient ramparts overlooking the sea.

Through the countless cycle paths, it will be possible both to the south and north to reach the beautiful beaches of white sand and clear sea in addition to those equally wonderful within walking distance. It is possible to rent bicycles anywhere in the city just a few steps from the apartment.

Alghero, the ancient city, overlooking the sea, is rich in historical and artistic heritage; The DeaSofia apartment is the nearest point to reach the ancient village of the Catalan sea with its wonderful beaches, not for nothing there are those who call it Barceloneta, the small Barcelona.

You do not need a car; all services are in the immediate vicinity; arriving by taxi, car or bus is very easy from Piazza Porta Terra very close to the apartment. The historic center is a pedestrian area with limited traffic in some time slots, but the apartment is in a comfortable position to be reached on foot from the nearby parking lots.

Leaving on foot you can visit the most ancient architectural sights of the city including the Ramparts, Church of San Francesco, the Theater, the port, the beautiful white sandy beach Lido San Giovanni in addition to the most exclusive daily show of the coast: the wonderful sunsets of the sun on the sea with the imposing Capo Caccia in the background.

Very convenient is the position for connections (shuttle) to / from Alghero airport.

Lovely apartment for a stay in the old town. Would definitely recommend it. It’s not as near the sea as we thought and it does not have a communal area. I think that is just a translation issue. The old town has plenty of bars and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

What a place!!!

Literally in Alghero town centre, very comfortable flat with all the necessary to spend a relaxing holiday with my family. Everything has been handed in spotless condition. Despite the high temperature experienced in July, we had two aircons to make the environment nice and fresh. Alghero is beautiful and the vibes are unforgettable. Only two downsides, the stairs are a bit tough to climb. Also, if you have a car, finding a space to leave it becomes a challenge. Overall a great holiday and we would definitely come back.

Clean apartment, great location

Apartment very clean and as advertised, no problems. Location is very good, right on the edge of the old town. Note that steps to the apartment are not only steep but are 8 degrees off level, so you feel like you're falling backwards when going up them (like the tower of Pisa), make sure to use the handrail. Also, parking around apartment is free on the street but availability is very limited. We had to drive around 5-20 minutes to find something within 500 meters.

Great location, but challenging stay

This apartment was in an amazing location in the old town and near the bus stop. The apartment was nice and the hosts were kind and tried to be accommodating. They let us check in early as soon as we arrived from the airport. Unfortunately, however, we ran into too many issues with the apartment for us to recommend this stay. There was no hot water the first 2 days of our stay but the hosts were helpful and quick to get this fixed by sending someone to the apartment the next day. The WiFi stopped working on the third day of our 5-day trip and was never fixed, so we could not use the internet or the televisions. There is an additional 50 euro cleaning fee in addition to the city tax that is due upon arrival that is stated somewhere in booking the booking process but it could be more clearly stated.

Charming apartment, in Alghero’s historic center.

A charming apartment, in the heart of Alghero’s historic center. Very close to the harbour and many excellent bars and restaurants. The apartment is spacious, clean and has everything needed to make a home away from home. The host was very pleasant and helpful. The stairs are steep but no problem if you are of average fitness and pack light. We had a lovely time. Highly recommended.

Located in a beautiful part of old town Alghero

The property looked exactly as the pictures had shown it. I really struggled with what to give the overall rating as on the whole the apartment was ok. There were a few thing that knocked it from 4 stars to 3 stars. As a self catering apartment it did have everything you needed with the exception of and iron which for me is an essential. We travel light to avail of cheap fights, so when I’m booking self catering apartments I’m looking to see if they have laundry facilities which this apartment did. I did text the owner when we arrived to ask if she had an iron somewhere and she said no. I asked if there was anywhere to hire one from and she said you can buy one at any Chinese or hardware shop. Tbh I don’t want to buy one, certainly not to leave behind! Also only 1 tea towel to dry dishes so we had to wash that when we washed our clothes! Surely you can stretch to more than one tea towel. The other big thing that knocked it from 4 to 3 stars was the hot water or lack of. The hot water never got that hot and by the end of your shower no matter how quick it would have run cold, this along with very poor water pressure, don’t turn on any other taps when someone’s in the shower. There was only 1 pillow each! This was the first apartment I have ever rented where there no additional pillows, and the pillows that were there were completely flat and lumpy. The wi-fi was very hit and miss, mostly miss. Again I text the owner when it wasn’t working and the response wasn’t what I’d expect. The very last negative was the issue to get rid of the waste. There was a list of what waste went out on what day in the manual, actually there was 2, and they were contradictory. Needless to say we had tried on each day to put out the waste and only once was it collected. I did text the owner and tell her we had a problem to get rid of it and she told us to put it in the bins around the corner that belong to a restaurant. We did try but my hubby was spotted by an employee of the restaurant and told he can’t put the waste in there. Hopefully the owner will take these points and make it a bit better for the next people that hire the apartment. I don’t mean to be negative just honest.

Renovated apartment in the center of Alghero

The apartment is very well located in the center of Alghero. Despite the location in a very lively part of the city, the apartment is quiet, no noise from the street at night. The apartment is renovated, clean and the air conditionning works very well. You should know that there are 3 flights of steep steps to get to the apartment. Not giving five stars because was lacking some of the basics we usually find in rentsl homes : blancket for the bed, very few bathroom towels, 1 toilet paper roll, 1 garbage bag…

Die Wohnung ist wirklich gemütlich und toll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung mit allem was man benötigt ist gut. Die Klimaanlage hält die Wohnung bei Bedarf angenehm kühl. Alle Räume können verdunkelt werden. Eine Spülmaschine und eine Waschmaschine sind vorhanden und ein echter Pluspunkt. Die Lage ist wirklich mitten im Zentrum der Altstadt von Alhegro in einer der vielen Gassen und somit perfekt um z.B. Abends das italienische Leben und treiben der Menschen miterleben zu dürfen. Da die Wohnung in einem der alten Häuser im oberen Geschoss liegt, muss man eine recht steile Treppe nutzen, um diese zu erreichen. Stellt aber kein Problem da. In der Hauptsaison wird das Wasser oft gedrosselt oder abgestellt. Doch auch das ist kein Problem, da die Wohnungen mit einem Zwischenspeicher ausgestattet ist. Leider gibt es keine Parkplätze in der Hauptsaison. Unser Auto stand daher immer 1,5 bis 2,5 km entfernt. Wir sind dann mit dem Bus zum Auto gefahren. Zum Schluss: Wir haben auch die Vetmieter kennengelernt. Sie sind sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar. Kommunikation auf Englisch ist kein Problem. Wir würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sauber. Die Lage perfekt, wenn man den Trubel der Altstadt liebt. Es hat uns gut gefallen. Leider gibt es einen fetten Punktabzug dafür, dass wir ziemlich oft kein Wasser hatten. In den vierzehn Tagen hat es nur zweimal zum Haare waschen gereicht. Oft war das Wasser ganz weg und reichte nicht mal zum Hände waschen. Auch das die Treppe wirklich sehr steil ist, sollte man erwähnen. Menschen, die körperlich nicht ganz so sportlich unterwegs sind, könnten damit Schwierigkeiten haben. Auch für kleine Kinder eher ungeeignet. Ansonsten hat es uns aber gut gefallen.

Dag...Hello, we were never warned about the difficulty of accessing the apartment. In fact, it is not mentioned anywhere that the staircase is very, very difficult to climb, given the number and size of the steps, approximately 30 cm high, with photos to support this.Furthermore, the lighting in the hall doesn't work at the entrance. There is almost never any water on our floor, as this is a recurring problem in Alghero.and finally the owners (whom we have never seen) ask us for a deposit for a washing machine which already had problems

Top Lage in der Innenstadt

Ausschlaggebend für unsere Buchung war die zentrale Lage am Rande der Altstadt Alghero. Fußläufig wenige Minuten ebenso zum Hafen, Wohnung top ausgestattet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Restaurants und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe, sehr angenehme und gute Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer, der sofort auf jede Anfrage antwortete.

Sehr schönes Appartement mitten in der Altstadt von Alghero

Ein sehr schön liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement. Große, funktionelle Küche, großes Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer und Bad. Voll klimatisiert! Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt in ist fantastisch. 5 Minuten zur Markthalle, 5 Minuten bis zum Hafen. 15 Minuten bis zum freien Strandabschnitt. Alles ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns unheimlich wohl gefühlt. Vielen Danke Dea Sofia.
