Getting to & Around Sardinia

Fly in to one of Sardinia's three airports: the Cagliari-Elmas Airport (CAG) in Elmas, the Olbia Airport (OLB) in Olbia or the Alghero-Fertilia Airport (AHO) in Fertilia. Alternatively, take a ferry over from Italy's mainland. There are bus and train systems on the island, but most travellers find it easiest to rent a car. Just try not to ram into of the 4 million sheep wandering about—they won't thank “ewe” for it!
