Comfortable, but with a useless kitchen
First time at a My Place. Chose mainly for the full kitchen and reasonable dog fee but, oddly, the kithen was rendered mostly useless because it was emptied of kitchen implements. The reason, provided by the exceptionally nice and friendly front desk person, was that it was a Health Dept. demand related to Covid because they don't have the appropriate sanitizing equipment. ??? I thought dishwashers sanitized? And the Covid pandemic was declared over in May 2023. Makes no sense to me. Beds were very comfortable and linens very nice. It's a budget hotel and looks it--drab and dull decor, cheap finishings. But perfectly fine for a night on the road.
