A Gem

Based on the price of the stay, it was well worth it. The bed was fairly comfortable with fairly soft sheets. The room was not updated, and the furniture showed some wear and tear. It was clean, but not exceptionally clean. It definitely could use a deep clean. Again, it's well worth the stay based on what you pay for the room We went to the steak house located on site, and it was delicious! We will stay again. Lots of amenities on site also helped. Our internet service and cable worked great. Conveniently located right off I-40. The continental breakfast was sufficient and provided many varieties.

The atrium and swimming pool are is nice and clean . However our room smelled dingy and our bathroom was terrible , there were holes in the ceiling above the shower and the carpet was torn going from the main area into the bathroom. You can tell they are trying to remodel but I don’t think I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and that was very appreciated.

Upon check in, the girl at the front desk was very snarky and unprofessional. The breakfast attendant was very very sweet. Continental breakfast was coffee, juice, cereal, muffins, waffles, yogurt. We really wanted some kind of protein but that’s an extra cost. The hotel is very strange inside. The rooms had dark curtains over the glass doors. Our bathroom seemed unclean and the tub had mildew growing in it. The bed very uncomfortable and even though they said it was a queen I’m very sure it was a full. My husband and I barely fit on it and we have a queen bed at home. Will not stay here again.

The indoor pool was freezing

The pool was the reason we decided to stay here, but it was NOT heated and it was freezing. We could only spend a a short time in the pool before my kids were shivering. It would have been decent for the price if they had simply had a heated pool. Some of the other maintenance issues could have been overlooked because you could tell they were trying to renovate and update the hotel, if the pool would have been more accessible. There were some cute decorations and you could tell they are trying to upgrade and repair things, but there is still a way to go. Simply having a warmer pool would have made it rate better.

Our stay was good here and our dogs were welcome. This seems to be an older property and the rooms could use some upgrades. Continental breakfast was good but could have been better.
