We loved our stay at Hôtel Au Charme Rabelaisien in Amboise. Jaques was so accommodating, he helped coordinate the pick up of our rental car, with dinner suggestions and reservations. The hotel is so central. Amboise is a charming town to walk and explore. Be sure to include their breakfast. It is fabulous and a great way to start each day!

The hotel was conveniently located to downtown shopping and dining, easy walk from the train station. The staff was incredibly welcoming, kept our luggage while we toured the area before check-in, and served a nice breakfast. Our room was at the top of the hotel, very nice size, perfectly equipped, and comfortable bed. It had a great view of the chateau! Highly recommend!

This is a delightful property and the owners are personable and helpful. There is private off street parking. The location was excellent for walking the city. The hotel is lovely and the staff superb! It is eclectically decorated - tres Francais! Breakfast was wonderful as well - fresh and delivered to our room by request every day. My only critique is that the front room on the first floor facing the street can get noisy. So either close your window or ask for a garden room.
