The continental breakfast is not free, as we were told by the front desk. Continental breakfast only consisted of oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, bagels and was $10. If you want the "hot" breakfast with eggs, sausage, etc it's $14. Pretty underwhelming.

The facility was clean, friendly staff who were helpful. Menu in the restaurant was not enticing and the breakfast buffet, plant based? You’re in Iowa with real beef and pork!

My first impression was that the room felt clean. The staff were nice and helpful. Our bathroom door didn’t shut. We also noticed the bathroom didn’t have a vent. So my guess is the door has warped from the humidity and now will not close.

We stayed Memorial Day evening. We booked the hotel for the pool (with two little kids) and it was closed. Checkin wasn't the most helpful. We then came down for continental breakfast that we were told cost $12/person. Just too many things that weren't great, wish we would've booked elsewhere.
