The holidays are difficult time of the year. That difficulty is compounded when you find out the company you work for for six years is downsizing and eliminating your department. A week ago I had to travel to Salisbury ma to negotiate the final days of my employment and what kind of packages we would be giving the people who have served under me for years. I randomly chose your hotel because if it’s proximity to where my meeting was taking place. I was so pleasantly surprised with my stay that when I knew I had to go back the following week. There was no question in my mind where I was staying. My simple one night stay which included a fantastic breakfast. The following morning has been the highlight of my month. And while negotiations did not go well, and this holiday will not be merry and bright, I was thrilled with my stay and the peace and relaxation it provided me. Thank you for helping to preserve my sanity and dignity

A loud party of around 40 people gathered around 11pm in the lobby/breakfast area. Room 118 (my room) was right next to the lobby so it was very loud. When I went out to ask the front desk person, he said the manager had given them permission to be there until 1am and there was nothing he could do about it. There were no other rooms available either. If you are looking for a quiet place to sleep, this is not it since quiet hours are not enforced.

The Fairfield Inn was super clean, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good with a variety of protein, yogurt, bread/pastry and fruit selections. We would recommend this Inn if you are visiting Maine's coast!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was much more than a typical "continental breakfast" and very good. The bed was too soft (personal preference- nothing wrong with the bed).

Our only issue was the elevator, that was not working on 2 occasions and we were on the 3rd floor. However, we were able to change one room to the 1st floor as one of us uses a cane and walker.
