I liked the area but we couldn't get our twins beds room, we ended up upgrading with £60 to get a studio flat, which had 40 steps to reach, was better but no TV. anyway I would not book the hotel again. Thank you

Great location for both train station and city centre. Staff lovely. Breakfast was included . Not the most modern hotel but was clean enough. No view, quite small room. Was expecting perhaps a little more modernisation for the money but wasnt that disappointed.

This little hotel worked wonderfully for me for the night. The staff are excellent and very kind! My room was small but worked for just me… it was just extraordinarily hot and could have used some sort of ventilation to move air. The window faced an ally with no air movement at all. Tv worked great hung above the bed and overall it was a lovely stay!

Location is great for centre of town and train station. Room was very small and cramped but clean. Looked out onto quite a noisy street so OK if you are fine with noise of people - but it is in the Red Light district so not unexpected. Didn't try breakfast as wasn't allowed to take the dog, despite hotel saying it was dog friendly. Allowed us to leave our luggage most of the next day

While I’d like to give the stuff a good rating because they were very friendly and helpful, the hotel room was way too hot. Temperature was like 19-25 during the day but the room was much hotter than outside. I was sweating just sitting there. I think it’s because of its south facing and the lack of ventilation system.

Our visit to Amsterdam was short, we loved the central location of the hotel, very close to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Our triple bed room was basic with not too many facilities, only a wardrobe, tv, telephone, hand towels, bath towels and plastic cups. The bathroom was small and after we had a shower, we had a flooding problem which could only be rectified after we left. The staff were empathetic to our situation, but we were checking out at 11am, so not much else they could do. Breakfast was continental with no pastries, only bread, but they did have a lovely coffee machine with various coffee options. The staff were very pleasant. Thank you.

Convenient good value hotel

A very conveniently located hotel, about 5 minutes walk from the main railway station, though it's on a small busy street (with many decent places to eat), just on the edge of the Red Light District in one direction, but close to the main streets in the other direction (near station), with many trams to get to all the key places around the city. Rooms are quite small (in common with many Amsterdam hotels) but ok for a few nights stay. Generally could do with smartening up, a lick of paint and some TLC. Bathroom was very clean and tidy. Towels changed daily and room serviced daily which was a plus. Large Breakfast Room in the basement, with the usual bread rolls, jams, cheeses and hams. Juice and coffee or tea (from a machine). For a Dutch hotel in Amsterdam city centre it's generally good value. Fine for a few nights, but would really benefit from a redecoration.

The hotel and staff were great. Very friendly. We were allowed to leave out bags before and after checking in and out. The room we had faced the street and was quite small (read 'tight'), but serviceable. Our only complaint would be that when we were there they were renovating the front of the building so we had scaffolding outside our window, with the occasional worker walking by. A temporary situation though I would think. If we return to Amsterdam and need a hotel right in the city center we would book again.

El personal muy amable. Nos entendimos en inglés pero ellos trataban de hablar español. Pedí una secadora de pelo y me la facilitaron sin problema. El desayuno fue bueno. Tiene muy buena ubicación. La fachada y la puerta de entrada estaban en remodelación.
