This is a lodge this community kitchen and lounge. Astounding views, and a series of double and twin rooms. Bathroom facilities are tidy and segregated. This is a great overnight place if you are not looking for the luxury of a hotel or motel and are happy to share with a community.

The staff person was so awesome and friendly. Went the extra mile to make sure our comfort was met. Recommended good eating restaurants in Oamaru which were spot on. If you want a nice quiet stay this is the place.

Old bones lodge is a lodge

I was looking for a motel with 2 bedroom and old bones came up, when I checked in I found it had 8 rooms sharing common areas including bathroom, kitchen and lounge . It’s a very nice lodge which we had it to ourselves. It has a central fireplace which was very pleasant and Gloria the owner is nice

Room very small

Expensive for charging extra one person $50 per night which adding a small bed in a very small room. The room is very small, it is maximum for 2 person.

Comfortable

A very comfortable and cosy on a cold night place. Good facilities. We've been before and that's why we chose to stay here again.

Luxury stay at backpacker prices

We had a wonderful time, friendly helpful staff.We would definitely return. Great beach and beach views from common spaces. Well equiped large clean kitchen.
