Amsterdam Gem

Thought it might be out the,way. Literally 6 minutes max and your in Central station but equally away from the madness of busy Amsterdam Ferry is free and runs 24 hour a day. Crossing is approximately 5 mins and we never waited for ferry. Hotel views are amazing Its one af Amsterdams gems. Check out shower with a view of Amsterdam...very cool

Came back at 10pm to a broken aircon and the room smelling like rotten eggs. Got offered a different room for the night. Apparently this happens every now and then in this building.

Nice location with an easy access to the city by the free ferry that runs nonstop. The hotel is uniquely decorated with rock n roll motifs. Lots of black interiors make it sometimes difficult to find things but i wouldn't let that stop me from returning. Ground floor restaurant is decent but if you can make it into the city, you'll find better. Bar has great variety and bartenders know how to make a proper margarita. We will return.

Hotel nice and location ok. Very disappointing not to know that there is a €100.00 a night deposit on the mini bar which wasnt explained anywhere in the booking. Had to pay €300.00 upfront which eat into our budget for weekend.

For me, I don’t see it convenient not so many things around the hotel for shopping or Dining. You have to do a lot of walking to get to the Amsterdam shopping area near center station.

The ferry to central station is right next to the hotel which is very convenient. Staff is excellent and very accommodating. This hotel was definitely the most unique one I've been to with the karaoke elevator and arcade.
