Overall, we love staying here. Our room was awesome, view of the water playground, and just step right outside to watch the fireworks every night. My biggest issue with our stay this time is what I saw outside of our room on our first night there. I saw what were definitely some type of droppings on the stairs. I texted the front desk and was assured the hotel didn't have any rodent issues within or surrounding the hotel, and that they would investigate it. I sent a picture as well. This seems like a fine explanation, and I really love the hotel, so I thought maybe it was a rabbit that got inside (btw they have neighborhood rabbits), or a kid's chocolate. My issue is that the droppings were never cleaned within the four days we stayed so every day I had to guide my kids around that portion of the stairs. I would think an investigation might involve cleaning it at the very least.

I liked that Building 1 was clean and smelled nice. The staff was accommodating. The splash pad was perfect for kids. I just didn't like paying for the parking (bought tickets from Expedia so that was not included...probably why it was cheaper to buy that way.)

Staying at Howard Johnson is great. From customer service lobby. You will greet by amazing crew especially named Rachel l, very friendly and great customer experience. Room is great with Disney vibes! The only thing maybe is the adult pool need a little bit clean. And maybe add an own dining experience area. Overall everything is good!

It’s an old motel conveniently located near Disneyland. The AC sucked and it was hot. The water park is small. The rooms weren’t great. We will try another hotel next time

This property is so close to Disney and plenty of places to take kids to eat. The kids loved the pools and the staff was exceptional and kind and sweet.

Decided to do a staycation for Father's Day weekend. Staff were great and friendly and made us feel welcomed. Room was also great with nice view of Disneyland fireworks. Only thing that bothered me was parking was a little difficult and WiFi was a bit slow. Other than that, would probably stay here again!

The water park is great for the kids! My three boys had a wonderful time going between the park and the pool and didn't even care that we weren't going to Disneyland. We would absolutely come back to the Howard Johnson Anaheim!

The staff could not have been friendlier. The kids loves the water park play area and the walk to Disney was easy. Would happily stay again.

We stayed 6 nights in one of the back buildings. There was a pool just outside of our room but it was still relatively quiet. A short walk from the splash bad - my 4 year old had a blast there! Lifeguards were on duty in both areas. The space was pretty clean - housekeeping came in every 3 days and provided clean bedding and towels and took trash. It was a short 10-15 minute walk to the parks and Mimi’s, Panera, and McDonalds were all within walking distance. The pools were fun and the short walk to the parks was convenient!

We love to stay at the Howard Johnson for our Disneyland trips. The Hotel is clean, offers bunk beds which is perfect for our kids and the water park and pool are something they look forward to using each stay. Unfortunately our room this stay had no hot water. We reported it early in the morning and we had maintenance there within about an hour. They attempted to fix it while we left for the park, and when they couldn’t they called us to let us know they needed us to move rooms. They moved us straight across the hall making it as easy as possible for us to relocate, and they kindly upgraded us to a kids suite which was amazing! We appreciate the staff at this location who are always friendly and welcoming. No matter who you interact with, they all greet you with a smile and a hello. This is why we keep coming back.
