Welcome to our rental!

Skip the high cost and limited space of a hotel and enjoy your stay at Mickey's Poolside Paradise. The house has a spacious backyard with private pool that can be heated for an additional fee. Plenty of space to splash around and BBQ or enjoy the sunshine after a day of exploring the nearby beaches or going to Disneyland!

The home is on a quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac just a few feet from a LARGE park. The park has two playgrounds, basketball, handball, soccer and baseball areas. You can easily walk the 400 FEET to the park at night and watch the amazing Disneyland Fireworks Display!

The home itself boasts over 1,800 square feet with 3 Disney themed bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living/dining area for your family to relax in! There is a sparkling pool with chaise lounges and outside sofa so everyone can enjoy sunny Southern California! (there is a $75 (City Tax Included) charge to heat the pool. If this is done once during your stay it usually lasts a couple of days).

The house has recently been remodeled with new appliances and furniture and has an open floor plan so you will feel connected as everyone plays in the pool or spends time in the living room. The living room has large comfortable family couch, a sleeper sofa, premium cable TV, Wireless WIFI throughout, large smart TV, perfect for relaxing with a movie after a long day out!

The Cinderella themed master bedroom has one queen bed, a 40 inch T.V. ALL beds have premium down comforters for a luxurious nights sleep!

In order to enhance your stay we offer a pack and play, high chair, stroller and more for the little ones.

The home is very centrally located just a short walk to countless restaurants, grocery stores, including COSTCO, Downtown Disney, movie theaters, restaurants, Anaheim Angels Baseball, Honda Center (concerts, circus & shows), the Anaheim Convention Center and many more attractions!

With all of these features we are certain you will have a magical stay!!

Also worth noting there is a mandatory Anaheim City Tax of 15% that is charged anywhere you stay. This is paid prior to arrival and can be paid through VRBO/HOMEAWAY's site. The caretaker has an apartment around the corner of the house so she is there to assist you if something is needed (the apartment is completely independent from the house) but also lives elsewhere so you have complete privacy as she comes to the property only as needed.

Disney Vacation home for local and out of town

The house is nice and accommodating.I have a ranch but there was a few to many spiders about daddy long legs in the house that might creep other people out Had to open cabinets to find things felt like snooping . Take your own Kleenex and paper. Towels please treat this home with respect the care taker and manager is amazing. The pool was nice in the evenings after Disney . I didn’t have check out directions soLeft it as I would all other rentals. Clean trash emptied beds and bathrooms stripped. Have fun.

Great location, great host!

Stayed here with my husband and 2 sons for some golf and Disney time. The house was perfect for what we needed. It took us around 30 minutes to walk to and from the parks, we chose to uber a few times too and it was very inexpensive. The host, Carmen, and her husband were very sweet and accommodating! Definitely recommend!

Nice and cozy

We really enjoyed our stay! Its approx a 30 minute walk the the disneyland gates. The house was super clean and Carmen was great to deal with. If we had to pick out an area for improvement, we would have liked a better stocked kitchen ( but its a minor criticism). You cant go wrong with this rental!

Perfect Family Stay

We stayed at this property in Anaheim for 8 days and 7 nights and we were so happy with it. The location was centrally located to all we had planned to do (Disney, beach, San Diego, LA). Only a short 8 mins drive to Disney and a park a block away where you can view the fireworks each night. The property was clean, updated, and stocked with everything we needed during our stay. There was even a welcome basket for us. The care takers were lovely and made sure we had a great stay. The pool was the best part! Such a beautiful backyard pool that was perfect for relaxing. Our family really enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider staying again.

Deceptive on proximity to Disney

Advertised as 2 blocks from Disney when reality is miles away & rides needed vs anticipating walking. Nice house with all necessities. But owner was slow to respond with clear check in directions & never provided WiFi info despite numerous requests. Owner uses garage for other purposes so bit unsettling for grandma to hear them doing laundry & moving around when she was there alone after long Disney park days.

Conveniently Located Close to Disney

If you're looking for a cozy home that is super close to Disneyland, look no further. This home is centrally located and while it's not really walking distance to Disneyland if you have little ones in tow, it is a short 5 minute drive to Downtown Disney. The owners are responsive and they truly care about their guests. The house is not huge, but since you'll be spending most of your day at the parks, this is a great option for your Disney vacation.

Outstanding Property & Owners

Property owner, Carmen, stocked the home with everything a little family could possibly need. Being 2500 miles from home, it was comforting to know that she understood the challenges of traveling. Our family had a wonderful time staying there - the "Disney" themed rooms were the highlight of our children's stay! It was fine, but frustrating.

It was a good stay, but we had a number of challenges. I’ll start with the positives: - is close to Disneyland, a bit too far too walk if you have younger kids (ours were 9&7), but a short 8 min drive to the parking lot. Parking was $35/day, but for us worth it. - property is very well maintained, and clean - there is a grocery store super close Challenges: - price of pool heating was misleading until days before we arrived; - pool was not heated per request, and was very cold until last day; - dishwasher didn’t work the entire stay; - we were asked to stay home for one of the days to let dishwasher tech in to fix it, we changed plans to accommodate Tuesday and do pool day with kids; - Tuesday came and no dishwasher tech, no notice from host; no working dishwasher; - Tuesday also happens to be pool cleaning and chemicals day, so we couldn’t use pool during the nice part of the day…had we known, we would have picked a different day to help get dishwasher fixed;…but it never was. - we were asked late one night if the tech could just come and fix the dishwasher another day, and the host would come let them in, we said fine, as we needed it to work; - we were told dishwasher was fixed at some point, but there was no lower rack, not cutlery rack, share picture with host..no reply. I msg’d host our concerns after we left, and no response, so I decided to post this review as communication was disappointing and frustrating throughout stay.

Best Trip Ever!

Carmen was fantastic! The house was exactly what we needed. Not quite close enough to walk to Disney but only a 5-10 minute Uber ride. The rooms were perfect, the pool was awesome (they even have a fence for the little ones,) and the kitchen was fully equipped. Carmen even left my son a birthday present! Can’t wait to go back!

We loved it!

This was the perfect place for us. We had two families staying in the home - one with teens and one with little ones. Carmen was very accommodating and even brought a little gift for our granddaughter before we left the last day. The pool area is beautiful, the home looks exactly as it does in the photos, and the kitchen was perfect. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it!

So Quiet

Such an amazing vacation. The house had all the amenities. We absolutely loved it. Most of all the neighborhood was so quiet. Did not hear sirens, felt completely safe, close to Disney but yet felt like we were far away. The house was beautiful, plenty of room. The pool was perfect. Definitely would recommend this place to rent and hope to go back myself.

Perfect Accomodation!

This house was great.... we stayed for 2 weeks. We werent sure whether to base ourselves in LA or Anaheim. Im so glad we chose Anaheim! It was super close to Disneyland (we went 5 times). The drive to Universal studios and all to Hollywood/Beverley Hills wasnt too bad if you time it right. The house is as the picture show. The landlords were great and the kids absolutely loved the Pool! The pool heating wasnt needed as it was summer and the water was always quite warm. Highly reccomend this house.

This house is amazing, exactly the way it looks in the photos. The home owner was very responsive even though we only had 1 question she answered very quickly. She accommodated my family with an early check in. The caretakers of the property were. Very friendly. They checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. They kept the property immaculate, and the night before check out thanked us for staying with them and gave us chocolates for the kids. The pool was my kids favorite part, also mine. Trip over Christmas

I had a very hard time communicating with Carmen. A month prior to our arrival I had asked about getting the pool heated, but only got a response about the possibility of that happening the day before we arrived. I was informed at that time, that heating of the pool might not be possible as the care taker was away over the holidays. I can definitely appreciate and understand that having someone come by to do that during the Christmas holidays might be challenging. However, I sent several messages to her without any response, and was never given a clear answer as to whether or not the pool could be heated during our stay. The host completely stopped replying to my messages. So we missed out on use of the pool, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. I feel like this should be advertised in the listing, that if people want the pool heated, that there is a chance that it may not happen. It was also a little bit disappointing that there were a few basic things lacking at that property such as tissue and paper towel. Overall it was a nice little property. Layout of the house was good and it was a cozy space. Good location and enough space for our family.

Disney Vacation Home a Paradise for your little ones from the start

This was a very nice home for my young grandchildren. There was the Cinderella room which was a favorite. The kids really enjoyed the bunk beds. After a long drive getting to Anaheim it makes it especially ideal to be so close to Disneyland. At the end of a exhausting yet enjoyable day at the theme parks it makes it very nice to be so close to the lovely cozy home. I agree with the other tenants who also raved about this property. The neighborhood seem very nice an area which felt very secure. Carmen and her husband went over the top to make sure all our needs were met. We arrived during the Christmas break and wouldn't you know they even had a small decorated Christmas tree, now who does that for strangers? We look forward to coming back again sometime soon. We absolutely loved our stay at the Mickey House! We stayed with a mix of business friends and family and the space was sufficient for our needs. We all LOVED the pool and it was a God send for a few of the very hot days of our stay. We had some issues with the garbage disposal in the kitchen and the property managers Carmen and Jose were quick to respond and mend the problem. They were extremely hospitable! I would return again in a heartbeat and we were sad to leave!

The house was perfect for a family, The house was extremely child friendly. They had safety plug covers on everything, toys, a high chair, movies, extra crib, and all kinds of little extras you wouldn't think a rental would have. I was very surprised buy by how much they catered to the little ones, as well as the adults. We had a total of 9 (My wife and I and our 6 kids ages (2, 3, 6, 10, 16, & 21). The house and owners were very accommodating to everyone's needs and request's. If you have a family and are headed to Disneyland I would Highly recommend staying here.

The property is so pretty and has nice little touches all throughout!

The owners go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. They really think of everything from suntan lotion by the pool, two different strollers, sewing kits to shampoo and toothpaste. The house was so well decorated and comfortable. It was like a home away from home. The pool was just delicious after spending a day in the parks. Loved it! We will be back!

Outstanding place to stay for a Disney visit!

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious well appointed home. I'm a bit of a clean freak and this home was sparkling clean. Our children loved the pool. This is a great place for a family or large group (3 bedrooms with 6 beds and a pull-out couch in the family room. Pool towels, patio furniture (including chaise lounge chairs), and a BBQ grill were provided. The kitchen had everything you'd need and full size washer and dryer! Neighborhood was very nice and quiet with street parking readily available. Our caretaker, Carmen was gracious and easily available. Carmen provided extra unexpected touches - bottled water, some toiletries, a selection of DVDs and a few toys for young children, even a highchair. We were able to use Uber to Disneyland with less than a 10 minute wait for 6 people. You can walk to Disneyland, which we did the first day to see Downtown Disney. For a longer day at Disneyland, Uber works great-Uber for 4 or less cost $5.50.

Jose and Carmen were lovely

We had an enjoyable stay at this comfortable character home. Our grandchildren loved the pool. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had all the basics and again Jose and Carmen were available to answer any questions during our stay. Thank you!!

AMAZING!!

We recently spent 1 week at this home with our 2 children and it was perfect. Very close to Disney, grocery stores, and all other amenities. clean and well equipped. The pool area was awesome and it was nice to have a home to come back to after busy days at the parks. Carmen and Jose were extremely kind and super helpful. They went over and above our expectations to make our stay extra special. We would stay here again in a minute and would recommend this property to anyone!
