Family getaway in Annecy

We had a wonderful time in this cheerful, well-equipped apartment, with plenty of space for the whole family to relax, enjoy meals together, and rest between activities. They had an extra crib and high chair for our baby, as well as games for the kids - these were wonderful additions to make our stay more comfortable. We also loved the big bath on the top floor. And the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - fantastic! The location is excellent for exploring the old city center by foot, with easy access to the lake, restaurants, and activities. We were prepared for the stairs (it's on the top two floors, which is great for the view!) but we didn't understand that you can't drive the car in the street outside the apartment to drop off the suitcases - this was a challenge for us with a baby and a young child. The public parking was not far (as described in the post, a few minutes walk), but it's better to understand that you'll need to walk with your suitcases to the apartment and then up/down the stairs. Also, one bedroom is on the street side, and on Saturday, it was very noisy, with people out at the bars until around 1am. The other bedrooms did not have this problem. Part of the apartment's charm is that you're in the city center (the market is downstairs) with everything close by, so these are not complaints, just helpful details to understand ahead of time. Genia and Nicholas were wonderful, welcoming hosts and they were quick to answer questions. Thank you!!

Amazing location...great experience.

3 retired couple rented the place. Some had never traveled to Europe. We rented for 16 days and wanted to have more of an immersive experience of living in the heart of old Annecy. We were not disappointed. While the apartment requires that you climb 54 steps to reach the door once we got there the apartment was clean and all the room very comfortable. The bad were very nice and we slept well. The appliances are state of the art. Everything is accessible by walking: local farmers' market a few time a week, grocey store, shops restaurants it's all there right at your feet. I would recommend you park in St-Claire's parking if you don't want to climb the hill behind the apartment with your luggage (we rented a large van and had to park au Parking du Chateau which had enough clearance) The host were readily available and provided much needed assistance.

Delightful

Staying in this comfortable well located apartment was a highlight of our vacation. The property is located in old town and just a few minutes away from the lake. It is well appointed with a lovely kitchen and communal dining space. The seating area was comfortable and made visiting and being in each other's company easy. The hosts were very responsive and showed interest in our comfort. I would recommend this apartment.
