Preferred - accommodation in Artesian Village

The worker who checked us in was very unfriendly. Ignored us standing there and did not address that we were there for several minutes. The room was very sparse, no pictures on the wall or a table that was to be situated between the two chairs. The furniture was very worn as was the shower. Hotel is located directly by the train tracks so you are awakened frequently. Curtains did not block out the sun and there is a lot of that during this time of year. It was walking distance of 3/4 mile to nicer restaurants but you had to walk past many homeless people making us feel uncomfortable. I do not recommend this hotel. FYI the room also smelled very musty.

Clean roomy room. Excellent shuttle service. Staff available and helpful. No continental breakfast as was advertised
